I picked up this Bosch Daredevil 1/2” spade drill set to place HDG carriage bolts in pressure treated deck beams. The spade bits are very aggressive and made the installation of the bolts an easier job. Glad I picked up the 2-pack as the PT wood had a lot of moisture and after the first 20 holes the first bit gummed up, so a quick change-out allow me to finish the job.The bits remained sharp and after a quick cleaning in mineral spirits they are back in the tool box and ready for the next job.
