I have only used the three smaller bits so far but I do like the self tapping screw much better than my old ones without it. Normally I’d make a start hole to keep the tip in place before drilling when accurate placement was essential. These are easier, just push down slightly to let the tip grab and start drilling. Didn’t slide off the mark and was easy to keep level for a straight hole. I would have given a 5 but they seemed to dull after several uses.

Once I completed drilling deep into a tree trunk I could not back the bit out. The bit would not turn anymore in either direction and I lost the 3/4” one in the tru. I then bought a flat spade bit, drilled the same tree and the spade drilled easily in and out.Up til then it performed beautifully

The drill bits are as powerful as advertised. The only drawback is drilling halfway into wood requires one to reverse the drill in order to get the bit out because of the threads at the tip of the bit instead of just lifting it out with conventional bits, drilling 30 holes is a real pain.
