These bits cut fast and true. They are short enough to get between joist in order to run cables and plumbing. Not sure how long they will stay sharp since I only used them to drill about 10 joists.

I used one of these with an extension to run power and a hdmi cable down a wall. They worked great.

Only needed to use the 1″ one so far but it busted through the 2×4 in no time. Which I was very grateful as I was working over my head.

This set has the basic bits needed for most electrical work through framing. With a screw tip, there is little pressure needed tp get it started and it pulls though even old, hard wood with ease. Easy to use, excellent price!

This Bosch 1 1/8″ stubby is a great bit. I used it to install a power port on my boat. It was the perfect length to allow me to drill where I wanted.

These work really well for drilling in confined spaces with either a right-angle drill or a Dewalt right-angle drill attachment, sold by HD, attached to your regular drill.I do wish they had some other sizes, but for me, since I was just drilling holes to run electrical cable, they worked out fine.Note that the threaded tips on these, like all the Bosch DareDevil spade bits, really PULL the bit into the wood once it bites in. You have to be careful when using these and be prepared for the drill to twist quite violently, which could result in personal injury. Do NOT put heavy pressure on the bit, let it do the work on its own. If possible, the drill should be positioned so that if it does twist, the pistol grip will hit a wall or some other object with a very short distance, so it does not wrench your hand or wrist. I speak from personal experience!

I bought the stubbys to work in tight spaces but they have become my ‘go to’ bit set for most projects. They cut clean and quick and the short length is more controllable. They also store easily in my drill kit.

These short bits allow you to drill holes in tight spots, like in between studs for running tubing or cable . The self driving tip digs deep and fast, but will jam unless you pull back a bit.

They worked great!!

Very handy set of commonly used Wood paddle bits to have – especially in cases when drilling in a tight space.

The screw tip didn’t start as easy as paddle bits that don’t have that type of tip.

Well worth the price

Only issue was that Packing is not reusable so how to keep them safely in toolbox ?
