I have not had a chance to start the project that I purchased these for, but after looking at these bits the sharpened? edges look nicked and rough, so I hope they will cut a clean hole when I use them.Will update this after I use them.

The product description ought to add that the set includes 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 5/8, 3/4, 7/8, and 1″ bits. They are well made bits, nicely ground and cut clean square-bottomed holes. All seven bits have a 1/4″ shank. The set includes a nice wooden storage box.Remember that Forstner bits should be used with a drill press for best results.

I’ve always found Bosch tools to be above par and of excellent quality. These forstner bits do not disappoint. They came well sharpened and are made of quality steel guaranteeing a lifetime of use if properly kept. The case is nice and has a clear lid instead of the all wooden case shown, and while that makes absolutely no difference to me, it looks nice and is durable.I wish HD offered these in their store locations instead of online-only, but the wait was worth it, as what they have in-store is either of horrible quality or ghastly expensive, nothing in between.
