The Bosch GCL100-40G Green Beam Self-Leveling Cross-Line Laser with Plumb Points uses green-beam technology, which emits green lines and points up to 4X brighter than standard red beams. This gives the laser a working range for the lines of up to 165 Ft. The laser produces vertical, horizontal, cross-line modes, as well as upward and downward green plumb points. The tool can project two lines independently or together, for a broad array of alignment and leveling applications. It includes Bosch-exclusive VisiMax™ technology, which monitors tool temperature and power consumption to deliver the brightest line for the job. The tool has full rubber overmold housing, designed to be similar to a roll cage, so every major impact point is reinforced with rubber. It is an IP64 rating, and features deeply recessed windows help protect the laser glass. The onboard user interface allows easy selection among the layout modes. The Bosch Smart Pendulum System self-levels and indicates out-of-level condition, and it locks the pendulum for secure transport. The included RM10 Rotating Mount offers quick setup, extra-strong magnets, and fine adjustment rotating nob.

Bosch combination laser level is GCL100-40G. This really nice laser has green beams, so much easier to see than the old red ones. This unit has a great magnet on the back and reinforced housing . It comes with batteries and a wonderful carrying case, I found a bit of a learning curve with it but this will be a great tool in the arsenal and i am now looking forward to finishing off the interior of our barn !

This laser works really well. It features a green laser which is much brighter and easier to see than the old red one we owned. The laser has settings for vertical, horizontal, cross-line modes, plumb points, and the tool can project 2 lines independently or together. It has full rubber over mold housing, which protects it in case of dropping or falling. It also has deeply recessed windows to help protect the laser glass. It is easy to switch between laser functions by pushing a button. It also has “the Bosch Smart Pendulum System” with self-levels and indicates when you are out of level. It comes with a sturdy carry case that locks the pendulum for secure transport. It also has a RM10 Rotating Mount for quick setup, extra-strong magnets, and fine adjustment rotating nob.

I was really impressed with this Bosch 165 foot self-leveling green combination laser level. It is a professional grade, very well made product that works great. It includes a swing bracket controlled by a left-right finger dial. It also includes a second bracket with a clamp which can be used to fine position the laser up and down using another finger dial. The laser can also be mounted on a tripod. I was impressed with the distance capability as well as how it can be used to level across corners. I no longer need to do multiple measurements or need chalk string to level and mark an area. It even comes with the 4 required AA batteries with a carry case to keep all the components neatly stored when not in use.

(Model GCL100-40G) I haven’t used this laser level on a project yet, but I played with it enough to form an opinion. And I think this is an excellent tool.It comes in a very nice hard case that makes transportation easy and provides great protection for your investment. The level itself has a very nice feel to it. It feels hefty and solid and the rubber over-molding gives a secure grip, even with gloves on.I tested the laser indoors and out. Obviously, it’s easier to see indoors, even in a brightly lit room. The brilliant green laser easily reaches across the largest rooms. I also tried it outdoors under bright sunlit conditions. The laser was harder to see and becomes invisible (to my eyes, anyway) after about 40 feet. But it’s still usable if you understand the limitations.The included rotating magnetic mount is really handy. It attaches to any metal surface that attracts a magnet and it’s very strong…no need to worry about it falling off. It also attached right to my photography tripod. The adjustment dials allow you to fine tune the level. It’s also self leveling so you can place it just about anywhere.It has 4 modes of operation to choose from depending on your job: vertical, horizontal, cross-line and plumb points.I can see where this would be a handy tool for the homeowner/handyman type or the professonal.

I love this Bosch self leveling laser set. Aone important factor for me is that the case is great. The level stores perfectly and safely along with the directions and batteries. I love that you can set the unit in a tripod, table, clip it or magnetically fasten it to a surface. It creates perfect vertical and horizontal crisp laser lines. You can also set a plumb line.

Picked up this Bosch combination laser level for a basement project requiring a level horizontal cut in a 30-15 ft room. Also ended up using it as a plumb line as I expanded the tongue and groove paneling in the room. This laser attaches directly to a tripod or has attachments for sitting on a surface, hanging from a nail or clipping to an i-beam or similar (clip opening is rather thin. The laser has three settings – horizonal, vertical and combination horizontal + vertical. It’s powered by a two AA and two AAA batteries. I used the laser over a 5 days (not constant use) without any noticeable decline in power of the laser. You can see in the pictures the laser and the beam. Super easy to use… turn on and go. I worked with a tiler who loved their Bosch laser. I now know from experience the versatility of this little guy. Note – This laser is recommended for all uses (blumb line, windows/pictures, cabinets, wall applications such as paneling or tile… basically all applications except ceiling tile and framing.

The Bosch 165 foot self leveling green combination laser level is another serious tool. Beautifully packed in its own carrying case and an extensive booklet of safety instructions and directions. Very professional looking and conveniently comes with 4 alkaline batteries. Great for measuring for wall tile, ceiling height etc. This tool will make these measurements much easier. Yes I would recommend this.
