The Bosch GCL 2-160 self-leveling cross-line laser with plumb points delivers all-in-1 versatility, with highly visible lines and points that can be turned on independently or together for horizontal level, vertical level and plumb transfer applications. This laser has a visible range of 65 ft. The receiver mode allows it to work with an optional Bosch line laser receiver (LR 6 or LR 7) for a working range of up to 165 ft. Product works as described. So far I have only used it to hang a door (I used the EZ Hang brackets that require a straight line on the hinge side – I used this. With the auto level, I had the laser line where I needed it in about 30 seconds). It’s super easy to use. The plumb lines will come in really handy when framing. Only drawback is the pouch is only big enough for the level itself, it won’t fit any of the accessories that come with the device.

This is the best line laser for the price. The laser is visible across larger rooms and down hallways. It also has a dot plumb bob feature that is great.

Love the level and the Plumb Points. We use these all the time. Be aware that some come with a BAG which we liked and others come with a pouch, which the lever ONLY fits and it is really tight. So you have to leave all the parts somewhere and they usually get lost. They are the same price! ??

Best one yet especially for the price. The adjustable base and wall angle clip holder work perfectly. Set unit in corner of room and will shoot entire room in one shot.

I should have bought one of these lasers years ago. I have always used a level for installing cabinets and thought I’d have no use for a laser. After borrowing a coworkers laser just to try it out I will never switch back. It has easily cut install time for a kitchen in half. I can quickly find the true highpoint of the floor where cabinets are going and set my laser to install to that point. Also, as you shim the cabinets the laser allows you to see the movement of all four corners of the cabinet at once. This laser also has a plumb dot which is great for positioning lighting perfectly in the kitchen. You can measure everything on floor and put tape where the lighting goes on the floor and transfer it to the ceiling with the plumb dot. The negative to me about this laser is I go through batteries fast. I wish it had rechargeable battery packs.

This is a great tool. The switch on mine is a little hard to operate, though.

I am very pleased with my Bosch GCL2-160-S. My primary uses are indoors to level cabinets, will tiles etc. The red lines are clearly visible at 20 feet inside a brightly lit room. I mount the laser to a camera tripod that allows me to raise or lower the projected light beam to where ever I need.

The device worked as expected and allowed me to install the tile in a bathroom easily. Good visibility of the line.

This laser works very well. I wish that it came with a storage/protective box for all the pieces.
