The Bosch GCL 2-160 S Self-Leveling Cross-Line Laser with Plumb Points package delivers a laser with all-in-one versatility, providing highly visible lines and points that can be turned on independently or together for horizontal level, vertical level and plumb transfer applications. This laser has a visible range of 65 ft. Robust over-molded constructions IP54 ensures splash water/dust protection for years of dependable operation. It comes with the RM 2 Magnetic Rotating Mount with Fine Adjust that rotates 360-degree by the precision of a fine adjustment knob.

This is a great tool. I bought it specifically for a tile job I am doing in our master bath. The self-leveling feature is excellent. The beam is plenty bright and very accurate. This was part of a package that included a tripod.There are two mounting brackets provided – the Magnetic Rotating Mount with Fine Adjust is great for fine positioning of your vertical line. It couples with the Ceiling grid clip, which allows you to raise and lower the horizontal beam 6-8″. One suggestion for Bosch: modify the ceiling grid clip with top and bottom screw holes so that you can screw it to a stud and have ultrafine height adjustments at all levels, not just the ceiling. This device does like to eat batteries, though – a rechargeable battery pack and 120V adapter/charger would be nice.

Pretty solid Tri-pod. I left one of mine at home on the way to a video shoot and i stopped and picked one up. Very good quality with solid stability. Happy to add it to my collection. It probably wouldn’t hold a bigger camera but it’s perfect for amatuers.

Works exactly as it should. Perfect stationary adjustment capabilities. Well thought out with two exceptions. 1- this tripod is not suitable for heavy construction, that being side, its is largely going to be used for interior projects. With the height only reaching roughly 60″, doors with an 82″-61″ require the tripod to be raised up in order to accommodate heights above 60″. 2- sell the darn risers separately. Otherwise, this product will do the job.

This tri pod saved me while installing my back splash. Good height, and stable. Has 2 buble levels to make sure your level verticle and horizontal. My only issue with this is it was hard to get minute adjustments left and right. I would try and adjust it 1/4” and it would jump 1/2”. Had to play around several times to get it lined up. Over all for $50 it worked. I would recommend it.
