The Bosch GCL 2-160 Self-Leveling Cross-Line Laser with Plumb Points package delivers a laser with all-in-one versatility, providing highly visible lines and points that can be turned on independently or together for horizontal/vertical level and plumb transfer applications. This laser has a visible range of 65 Ft. It features VisiMax Technology, which monitors power consumption to maximize line visibility and extend battery life. The Smart Pendulum System self-levels with an accuracy of up to ±4°, and it indicates out-of-level condition. The manual mode locks lines for use at any angle. Robust over-molded construction – IP54 ensures splash water/dust protection for years of dependable operation. It comes with the RM 2 Magnetic Rotating Mount with Fine Adjust that rotates 360° by the precision of a fine adjustment knob. The Bosch BLAZE GLM 42 135 ft. Laser Measure is a fully featured, easy-to-use tool, with a display guide that uses words, letters and icons to walk the user through each measurement process. It provides real-time length, length, area, volume and indirect measuring functions, and it has a 20-measurement storage capability and addition/subtraction functionality. The digital bubble vial provides a visual reference when measuring horizontal distances. Thanks to its laser precision technology and real-time measurement mode, it takes instant and reliable measurements up to 135 ft. and is accurate up to ±1/16 In.

Tis laser measure is simple. I use it to measure distances in ships cargo holds and it works well. Indirect height measurement is simple. Measure distance from a bulkhead- then point at the damage and press the button. I measure from the hip and add 1 meter giving a close approximate height above deck of damage.

Love the level so far, not shur why people had complaints about the brightness but this thing is bright enough. Its like any other level in the bright sun. Hard to see but brighter than alot of other high dollar lasers ive used

I should have bought one of these lasers years ago. I have always used a level for installing cabinets and thought I’d have no use for a laser. After borrowing a coworkers laser just to try it out I will never switch back. It has easily cut install time for a kitchen in half. I can quickly find the true highpoint of the floor where cabinets are going and set my laser to install to that point. Also, as you shim the cabinets the laser allows you to see the movement of all four corners of the cabinet at once. This laser also has a plumb dot which is great for positioning lighting perfectly in the kitchen. You can measure everything on floor and put tape where the lighting goes on the floor and transfer it to the ceiling with the plumb dot. The negative to me about this laser is I go through batteries fast. I wish it had rechargeable battery packs.

The lanyard thing broke after the first few uses, and it was simply hanging from my belt. And the display is nearly impossible to read outdoors. On the flip side, it’s very accurate and it works well.
