The Bosch miter saw stand is definitely worth the money.

This stand isn’t cheap, but it just works. Much more solid than the original Bosch stand that was the only one available when I bought my saw (12” Bosch slider). The heavy saw is easy to move, raise and lower.
Lavinia Jast (verified owner) –
It is pricey but is worth it for the convenience of not having to mount it on the rails each time and be able to store it in upright position

Love the saw. Accurate outbof the box and good dust collection.

have a bad back or you don’t want a problem back , well this is the stand for you ! Solid and very easy to control and it is rock solid. Oh and by the way gravity rise is phenominal. I agree on that statement!

It was a little less stable than I was anticipating.

This saw is excellent. The arm glides smooth and I didn’t need to make any adjustments out of the box.

This was my dream saw. After saving for a while, I finally decided to get this saw after playing around with the sample saw at Home Depot. This saw provides a great reach and glide with the axial glide system so I’m able to keep it against the wall and save a lot of room. The glide was smooth and I didn’t feel any play when sliding back and forth, but I could see an issue if you’re forcing the saw through a cut.The biggest problem I have with this saw is that Bosch made a lot of changes to the saw and it does not show in the product picture OR the sample product at the store. The picture you see is the older model, the newer model is missing a chunk of metal from the fence (both sides), missing the button for the detent lock, and they changes the safety switch from the handle. The last part is the biggest issue for me since I have small hands, the handle itself is pretty large already, but having the safety switch underneath the handle means I have to slide my hand up and down in order to get the saw to start. My wife has to use both hands since she cant reach at all! Way to go Bosch!Again, I think for a $700 saw I think it should include at least a laser (I know the European models do) and a locking clamp.Sadly, this saw is going back to Home Depot and I will be picking up a different saw. Shame, I had such high hopes for this saw.

It took very little time to adjust it out of the box and it is the smoothest nicest miter saw I’ve ever owned

The saw is an absolute beast. At like 60 pounds, I definitely recommend building a miter station. It was just off Square out of the box but easily adjusted. Slides like silk.

Professional designs MATERIALS AND ENGINEERING QUALITY,PACKAGING EXCELLENT BECAUSE bOScH CARES ARRIVED ON TIME MANUALS AND DOCUMENTS GOODGOOD FOR ANY PRO . SET UP PERFECT RIGHT OUT OF BOX.IT CUT PERFECT 45 DEGREE MITERS FROM FACTORY. ABLE TO MITER PICTURE FRAMES as good as our professional framing technology. Very surprised. Been doing frames for 25 yearsThe blade cut very well. Sliced 4×4 post lumber grade . Could slice thin across grain . Still trying to get the blade to set bevel ?.. Instructions in manual vague but detailed . Need better explanation of finding the controls to activate the bevel function. Will set my Radial Arm Saw back as this will do same at half the space and time. Better for productionPut us on mailing list , product reviews update we haVE bOSCH TOOLS. NOW

Expensive but solid. Took a while to assemble but I am pleased with it. My brother commented that he hasn’t seen a pro with a better set up. I’m a novice.

Just got it assembled and miter saw mounted. Its sturdy and well constructed. Here are my cons: 1) it was shipped with no instructions; no problem I downloaded the .pdf file from the net and printed what I needed. 2) The instructions LIE; tools needed… 10mm wrench and socket -yes, 13mm wrench and socket -yes, 17mm wrench and socket -NO its a 16mm or 5/8. And the hole they offer to put a wrench to hold a nut while you tighten requires a needle nose vise grip to lock the nut while you tighten. 3) You have to install a bolt through a narrow rail and get the nut in a very tight space for a grown man so I got my 14yo daughter to hold the nut while I started the bolt. These these are just frustrating annoyances, be patient. For ease of assembly I suggest ratcheting wrenches 10mm, 13mm, 16mm, or a socket on the end of an cordless impact wrench on its lowest setting for the bolts and wrenches for the nuts, then swap to a phillips on your impact wrench for the 4 screw headed bolts and a 13mm on the nut.Oh yeah, my dog Camo peed on it so he gave it his seal of approval. For those enquiring minds, a Milwaukee M18 12 inch sliding compound miter saw will fit; the mounting holes are somewhat adjustable to fit different brands.Hope this helps!
