The Bosch GLL 2 self-leveling cross-line laser is a compact leveling and alignment solution. The GLL 2 features a smart pendulum system that self-levels and indicates out-of-level condition, offers switch slider to lock for transport. Easy to use 1 button allows 1 to choose between cross-line, horizontal or vertical lines depending on the application.

This Bosch device serves it’s purpose very well and where precise leveling is a must, it makes the project flawless. Verticle tiles are beautiful when set perfectly straight!Only problem was the delivery of the item. I expected delivery on the date stated when ordering but didn’t receive it until two days later. This cause my project to be delayed a week.

The laser itself works great. The batteries that came with it lasted all of about 2 hours. Hopefully the duracells will last longer. The mount is a good quality. Just wish it was adjustable in a more precise way. Spending a lot of time fiddling with it to get it where I want but I am aiming it down at the floor and not at a wall.

Another great Bosch product. I would have given it a 5 star rating if I could see the laser beam outside. Even in the shade, you can barely see the laser beam ( of course the beam became more visible once the sun set ).

Good unit. I didn’t realize that you cannot angle this much without it breaking the self leveling feature. I ended up buying a bosch tripod to get the right elevation and now it works even better. Other wise i could only level at the step levels of my ladder which of course were never the right height.

I used this to install kitchen cabinets and it worked great. For some reason the spring loaded locking latch would keep slipping back and locking the bubble lazer. I had to put a piece of tape on it to hold it open. Still works good.

Couldn’t use outside on the deck during the day as sun too bright such that you couldn’t see the laser light at 12′ horizontal length. Worked okay at night though.
