The Bosch GLL 2 self-leveling cross-line laser is a compact leveling and alignment solution. The GLL 2 features a smart pendulum system that self-levels and indicates out-of-level condition; offers switch slider to lock for transport. Easy to use 1 button allows 1 to choose between cross-line, horizontal or vertical lines depending on the application.

Easy to set up and simplified lining up new recessed lights incredibly well. Mounted the unit to a long dowel that was then placed in a bicycle repair stand to elevate the unit to the necessary height to cast an easily visible line.

I ordered this to add as a backup on a tiling job. It is different from my other one as it doesn’t have an automatic lock once it levels. I have to manually lock it and it does cause it to shake a little. Otherwise it looks and works good!

This is an excellent laser tool. I usually use the self-levelling. It only takes a couple seconds to steady out once I have it mounted where I want it. And the line seems to go a lot farther than the advertised 35 feet. I can use it correctly at 50 feet away. Small, lightweight, inexpensive, very adaptable clamp for mounting.
