The Factory Reconditioned Bosch GLL30-RT Self-Leveling Cross-Line Laser Kit provides a tool that projects 2-lines, making a cross-line projection, for a wide array of level and align uses. This versatility makes it more valuable than a typical line laser. With top-notch accuracy and 1-switch operation, the user’s leveling and alignment tasks are done quickly and correctly. The laser lines are visible up to 30 ft. The Smart Pendulum System self-levels and indicates out-of-level condition to help ensure an accurate layout and it locks the lines at any angle. The pendulum system locks when switched off, to assure secure tool transport. The included MM 2 Flexible Mounting Device provides micro fine height adjustment and it allows the laser to be clamped on virtually any surface from 1/2 in. to 2-1/4 in. thick, for level lines at any height. Perfect price/performance for home DIY projects. I had an old camera tripod hanging around and I repurposed it for the laser level. Works great. My first project was installing a second set storage shelves in the garage suspended from the ceiling. Using the laser level to line up the ceiling supports, it cut installation time in half.

I purchased this in order to be able to align photos etc. on the wall when I hang them, and the self-leveling cross-hair laser is just the thing to use as a reference. Frankly, I don’t even need to center the laser at an exact height – the fact that it projects a level line allows me to take a carpenter’s level and measure up or down from that line knowing I am exactly vertical.I was not too impressed with the included clamp; it did not really hold that firmly on the granite countertop edge I tried to use (though it did finally work). But since the level has a standard 1/4″ tripod socket on the bottom anyway I can use it without the clamp.

The first level worked for about a month then failed to turn on. I returned it for a refund and I bought the same level again. I also bought the Bosch tripod which makes it much easier to use.

I bought the GLL 30 because my reclaimed shiplap siding on interiors walls project was taking forever with a standard level. This laser level increase my production rate by 4 times. Don’t know what I would have done without it.Wished I would have purchased the green laser lighted one since the red light is hard to see in well lit conditions.

Bought this to supplement my manual 3 point level. The 3 point is more accurate but not near as quick and portable as this level. This is great for moving it around in inside work. I say inside because the beam gets pretty weak in brighter light. But that is what I wanted, hang a picture, spot a row of nails, project a point from A to B with accuracy, laying tile in a small bathroom where the 3 point is just in the way. Kind of pricey but pays off in convenience. One of those nice to have modern tools.

Use this to install vertical wall track at a commercial level. Excellent tool.Need a case to hold the laser and BT150 tri-pod to protect it. Even a zipper bag would be good.

I’ve used it to set floor tile and to set bathroom vanity. I will also use it when I start tiling the shower. The blinking feature it has when not quite level enough can be disconcerting, but ok. It turns itself off if left alone for too long, acting like a circuit breaker (one must turn off the switch and then turn it back on) which is great for battery preservation. I’m glad I purchased it.

I like it, it can be a little strenuous to set up but after you get it where you want it it works out fine the main thing is getting it level.

Was given to me as a gift and I love this tool. Use it every time I can.

The outer package indicated and automatic and manual setting. The only time that this would be “manual” is if the base on it was not close to level. The only disappointing feature was that when in the off-level mode is that the cross lines could not be locked on and would flash every few moments. Other than this, the unit works very well.

I like my laser even if it was my first time using one. I put an ordinary level to see if the line was straight and it was. The only thing I would say that I didn’t like was that the mounting device after putting it several times, the screw that grip’s on my ladder was turning with the nut. I manage to take off the screw by pulling at the same time. I hope that my mounting device will work for a while.
