The Factory Reconditioned Bosch GLL30-RT Self-Leveling Cross-Line Laser Kit provides a tool that projects 2-lines, making a cross-line projection, for a wide array of level and align uses. This versatility makes it more valuable than a typical line laser. With top-notch accuracy and 1-switch operation, the user’s leveling and alignment tasks are done quickly and correctly. The laser lines are visible up to 30 ft. The Smart Pendulum System self-levels and indicates out-of-level condition to help ensure an accurate layout and it locks the lines at any angle. The pendulum system locks when switched off, to assure secure tool transport. The included MM 2 Flexible Mounting Device provides micro fine height adjustment and it allows the laser to be clamped on virtually any surface from 1/2 in. to 2-1/4 in. thick, for level lines at any height. This kit includes a belt pouch for easy carry-along accessibility.

Had 12 shelf’s to align, 6 on each side of a fireplace. Old fashion measuring and leveling would have taken hours. The product right out of the box did the trick. I also purchased the tripod stand and glad I did. Placing the Leveler on a ladder step would never have worked well. My only suggestion would be to include several examples of how to set it up and use in different situations would have saved trial and error time.

I really like the self leveling cross laser level. no guessing if the laser line is level as my old straight line laser level, I had to actually put up a 3 ft level to see if my laser level was indeed level.

This level was a great value, and worked great for the project I bought it for (painting stripes on a wall). However a few caveats I noticed are that the laser is not very bright, so it is difficult to see in a sunlit room, and it would be nice if there was more “tolerance” in how much the tool can be tilted before going into manual mode.

This crossline laser is portable, and accurate. I am a woodworker/carpenter by trade. In conjunction with the bosch tripod, it is smooth, quick, and easy to operate. Leveling cabinetry, shelving, work benches, etc is a breeze. Another fine Bosch product to add to my growing collection.

Pretty much ready to use straight out of the box. Just add the supplied AA batteries and you are good to go. The articulated holder was a nice treat.

Product description was a bit misleading. The beams horizontally and vertically do not project the same included angle. The horizontal beam has a narrow angle of projection, and therefore has to be very far away to use the advertised 30 feet. There is no way to use the device mounted sideways because the self-leveling pendulum flops to the side and will not self level. This made it impractical to use. Mounting hardware is a bit light-duty, but would likely withstand sporadic home use. Electronics all seemed to work as designed. A bargain if it meets your needs.

Easy set up – I laid it on the dining room table. Trying to level cabinet tops for new counter tops is tough with a 6′ level. The GLL30 did the job with two twists of the positioning.
