This BOSCH 300 FT. SELF-LEVELING GREEN 360-DEGREE LASER LEVEL is a fantastic tool. I am a painting contractor so I wouldn’t be using this for construction purposes. I use it for when I have to paint a stripe on a wall it gives me a perfect level line to work off of . I wish I had it when I did the line in the pic below. I can do horizontal line as well as vertical lines. I like the green laser better than red ones it is much easier to see. It come with a mount that you can use on a table or on the ground. The unit itself has self leveling capability which is great. you can purchase a pole or a tripod to mount it on. Luckily I have an old camera tripod that works great or I have pole for a dust wall that also works great. There are many other features. Overall this is a very high quality tool and I recommend it.

Green laser is much better in daylight than red. This unit is heavy duty. You can select 1 of 3 plains or even ALL 3 at the same time. Has a self level ( beeper and laser). Can be installed on a tri-pod or sat on a floor. Has out rigger legs to help stabilize it. Easy to setup and use. Well worth the price. You can order add-ons for it. This is well built and easy to use by anyone. House wife or contractor.

Bosch makes some great laser levels and this might be their best one yet. The laser is perfect for setting up outlets and switches, picture hanging, cabinet hanging, tile layout and even framing, Included within this set is a magnetic bracket capable of fine adjust, ceiling clip attachment, laser target plate pouch for the laser level and then a hard sided case. This set does not come with a tripod but can easily connect to any Bosch Tripod. Some of the key features you get with this laser level is self leveling, pendulum lock, and dust/water protection (IP54 rating). The laser level also comes with alarm when settings when the level comes out of balance to alert you to the issue. The lines are very crisp and easy to see with max visible range of 200 to 300 feet depending on conditions. Additionally it is highly accurate.Overall I would definitely recommend this laser level from Bosch.

Well best we can do here is an average rating as a tool is only as good as it’s weakest part – in this case the BM-1 Positioning Device. So we took it to the job site, mounted to to the structure and set our horizontal laser line (21′, marking the line), using a vertical laser line we moved across the project. when we got to the end there was a 1/4 inch drop in the line, going back to the device and laser we rotated it from there checking the marks and the closet marks were off the same. going farther we found the mount on the BM-1 was not at all solid and the whole laser was tipping as it rotated as the weight moved. The laser line itself was true, just that the tilt allowed the whole laser to rock, lowering the level. We set a second tri-laser up at the other end to verify and the two lines matched true, so weakest link – Positing device. I also already have a BM-1, so viewing the two next to each other – verified the loose mount. The GLL3-300G 360° 3-Plane Line Laser is a very good level and alignment tool, but a bit short on battery life being listed as 4 hours with all the laser on. In bright sun light we needed the targeting, but this is normal and I have the green glasses that improve the lines visibility. Now for those who thinking on this – we use a tri laser to build a 14×58′ awning and setting fixed points to mount and remount as needed, there’s a 1/6 inch difference from one end to the other and we are Sq. Set up and planning, plus checking will save hours of going back and a good laser level is a must, be it a small in home hanging of pictures right down to building a new garage.I recommend this product (Laser) but are disappointed in the Positioning Device.

Takes the hard work of aligning tiles, installing drop ceilings.I’ve always sweated getting flooring setup so the layout is perfect. I’d obsess, measure and snap a line (or two) do dry lay ups remark my lines… with this tool it’s a snap. This is a feature rich tool. The green led is super bright!! Its intensity can be adjusted lower, but even that is really bright. This laser can project up to 2 vertical 360 degree lines and 1 horizontal 360 line simultaneously or combinations of those choices. The kit comes with a great mount that you can use to clip on for drop ceiling installs, tripod, magnetically to steel studs or pipes and even as a stable floor mount. It has a “micro” height adjust dial which will make your life even easier. You can use it in self leveling mode or you can “lock” the beams to use in any angle you need. The device will beep/flash if it isn’t leveled. It has an IP54 splash and dust rating so it should hold up well to job site use.

I have wanted a laser level like this for some time to help me with some of my trim and other remodelling projects. I also wanted to use it specifically to help build a deck. This laser level is extremely easy to use. Simply set it down and turn it on it will actually self level itself so that all you need to do is adjust the height. It has a nice bracket that allows it to attach him to multiple types of material so that it can stay firmly in place while it gives off its bright green laser light multiple planes of 360゚ green light. The green light makes it very easy to see And although I did not measure specifically, the light does cast for a very long distance. All of the pieces come together in a nice hard plastics case to make it easy to store and transport. Overall it seems to be very well constructed of quality materials and with care should last me a very long time period very pleased with this excellent accurate and time saving tool.

This all in one Bosch 300 ft. green 360 degree laser level is the right product for the job of adding on to you project or a new one. You have a lot of items with this laser level to enhance your job. You have a (Bm1) tripod mount for a 1/4 or 5/8 inch tripod with a magnetic back, a hard case for carrying or storage, a protective pouch, laser target plate. The laser has1 horizontal and 2 vertical lines that cross at 90 degree angle to square things. You can use the horizontal and vertical separate or together in the mode button. It has a battery indicator light and a on/off switch with self-leveling. Has a leveling accuracy of +_ 3/32 in. at 30 ft., as you can see all of the great things this laser level has and great quality built in. The reason I chose this product , quality in the name and I am building a shed off of my barn. This is what you need to get it square and level. Remember this is a laser and be very careful with it (Eye). Ret.

Where has this laser been all my life? It’s bright. Accurate. Did I say Bright? Very bright! Bosch has made a great green 360-degree laser level here. The beam can easily be seen in bright conditions (I tested it in a brightly lit workshop over distances of 20 feet). The photo they show hides the third laser beam – it has three of the little “windows” and beams in each of three planes. First, I checked it, and the one I got it exceeded its rated accuracy (spec is ±3/32-in @ 30-ft). You can see in my pictures – I did a classic test – aimed the laser at the wall 20 feet away, with it pointing all the way to the right, made a mark on the wall, then I rotated the laser 90-degrees so it was pointing directly at the target, made another mark, then rotate the laser 90-degrees further, made another mark – this simulates the left center and middle of a broad beam. All three of these marks were within 1/16-inch, so the error was less than 1/32-inch (measured at 20 feet)The laser comes in a hard plastic case with a soft case for the laser and an adjustable mounting base – the mounting base is very useful. Adds a lot of excellent mounting options. It has threaded tripod mounting points for both 1/”4-20 threads and 5/8″-11 threads. It has an alligator clamp that clamps onto sheet metal – think drop ceiling lattice or maybe steel framing). You can pop the alligator clamp off and use the magnetic part to attach it to a steel panel or steel post. The base also has a fine height adjustment knob to help you set the laser in exactly the height you want. This version runs on 4 AA batteries (non-rechargeable). You can lock it on (without autolevel), if you want to make a line that is off level (set a slope). It also auto levels within 4 degrees. It did auto level just fine for me, and beeps at you if you bump it or try to get it to auto level when its out of position.

We have an older, red-beam laser level but this is the much more advanced. This level has green beam which is much brighter and is easier to see, especially in bright light. The Bosch level can measure three planes, which gives 360 degree alignment lines. This makes it easier to measure to hang something level and centered under an overhead light. It has a very sturdy hard plastic carrying case as well as a heavy duty canvas pouch to hold the laser itself. It comes with a laser target plate that can be hung on the wall to help with measuring. It also comes with a stand that has a ceiling clip attachment, tripod feet, and a base that has fine level adjustment and which also has two different standard mounting threads to attach to a tripod. It runs on four AA batteries, which are included. This made hanging a framed needlework project easy. We used hanging strips rather than a nail or hanger, so we needed to measure for both sides of the project accurately. We will use this level, not only for artwork, but for hanging shelves and cabinets. Really, it is useful for anything that needs to be mounted with accuracy.

This is a well-designed, high quality, bright laser level. The three lasers make it very convenient to project lines along floors, walls, and ceilings simultaneously. While I don’t typically need to use all 3 lasers simultaneously, I do often have the need to use 2 lasers at the same time, and it is convenient to be able to use any 2 of the 3–whether it’s the two vertical lasers, or one vertical and one horizontal. The 360 degree lasers make it so much easier to position the laser level in a room. You can place it in the center of the room and the lasers will project around the entire room, unlike a 180 degree model where you may have to place the laser against one wall or in a corner to get good coverage. And the 360 degree lasers make it very easy to put the laser level at any height–whether on the floor, on a tripod, or mounted on a surface. The large mount included with his laser level is very good. One feature that I really like is the knob that provides fine control for the vertical height of the laser. So if you are hanging cabinets or installing shelves along a wall, you can use the mount to carefully adjust the horizontal laser height without having to adjust a tripod up and down. One small thing I don’t like about this particular laser mount is that the rotating portion of the mount can’t be locked or tightened down. It swivels very freely, so if you bump the tripod or mount or laser, it the laser will rotate and cause the vertical lasers to move. This laser level uses four AA batteries and has a fairly well designed battery cover that seems like it will hold up to some abuse. The level can also make a beep sound if the laser is positioned so that the lasers aren’t properly leveled–a feature that can be turned off. When placed directly on the floor, the horizontal laser is 5″ above the floor, so if you have to do work involving things close to the ground, that might be a limitation in some cases. While this green laser is generally very bright and highly visible indoors, it can be very difficult to see outdoors. If you need a laser for outside use, the beam becomes very difficult to see past about 10 feet, at which point you will need to use the included laser card, or purchase the optional laser detector unit. The brightness of the laser varies dramatically depending on the surface it hits, so a dark textured surface (stucco) may make it more difficult to see the beam compared to a smooth bright white wall.

This laser system will take your home remodeling to the next level like nothing else will. It is a fantastic addition to my toolbox for aligning anything. Just set it on the floor or counter and flip the switch and it draws a perfectly level line on the wall! See the picture below for an example of us hanging shelves. This model in particular is awesome because it has 3 dimensions of lasers, meaning you can line up much more complicated projects using just this tool (think of mounting a corner wall of cabinets).

This is really a nice unit!! Years ago, I bought a David White Mark4 Laser level (I believe shortly after laser levels first came out). I was doing a major room addition to the house, and could see this would be a great benefit. This Bosch unit is a major improvement over my older unit. The laser beam itself is stronger and sharper. The mounting has a very nice platform, and the level screws onto a smooth acting swivel on the base. The base also has a rack & pinion to vertically position the level. There is a spring-loaded clamp, integral to the laser mounting hardware. Also, you also have the option to turn off the self-leveling, should you want to shoot at an angle. I never thought of that before, but that would be handy for driveways, drainage ditches, etc. There is also an option to secure on a tripod. With any new tool, I always question if I’ll use it enough to justify the purchase. I was amazed how many applications came up where the laser level made the job easier and more accurate. In addition to the new room, I used it for the deck, installing siding, a new garage slab, driveway, etc. In addition, the laser level is a tool my son likes to borrow for his jobs. It’s a good investment. The only negative I can see is a lack of a storage for the batteries. Since there is usually months between usages, I always remove the batteries, in case they may leak. A pouch in the level’s cloth bag would be welcome.

Just a regular do it yourself type of person was looking for the right tool for the job and after some research found this . I specifically bought it to help square out a room in my basement yes there’s still some math figuring out to do but over all u can be certain you going to be. Square or plumb . Looking forward to seeing how well it works for my other projects aswell. Lines are fairly visible also I’m sure depending on different circumstances that it won’t be as visible but as far as I’m concerned that’s to be expected! But definitely a lot better then my red Laser for sure .

Bosch 300 ft. Self-Leveling Green 360-Degree Laser Level – Self-leveling Laser levels are one of the best tools invented for installing cabinets, windows, wall tile, doors and dozens of other uses. Over the years I have owned several red lasers, some 3-plane, and always thought they were fine and always got the job done. My biggest complaint was that they never worked very well outside; hard to see in daylight. This is the first green laser I have owned and it’s a nice tool. It is advertised as 4x brighter than red lasers and after testing with a Bosch red laser level indoors, it is definitely brighter, but outdoors the green and red are about the same and become indistinct at about 10 feet from the target. Regardless of its outdoor capability, I still like this laser, particularly for its brightness when used inside and for the audible signal it emits along with flashing, if the auto-leveling is out of range and your laser lines are not level or plumb. It’s a three-plane level and comes with a mounting bracket, a laser target card and a nice case for safely storing and transporting the laser and accessories. It uses standard AA alkaline batteries. I mounted mine on a rolling tripod and so far, have used it to install interior doors and kitchen cabinets.

The green laser is easier to see than red. As a professional, I have many lasers and seeing a laser line in the light is their greatest weekness. I have tried many brands and decided to try a Bosch this time. I like it. I am going to see if they have dot laser for plumbing walls quickly.

This is a very very impressive laser level! I love all the functions it comes with and the extra mount (BM-1) that helps with multi-surfaces. The set comes with a nice padded bag to protect the laser and a hardset box for easy carriage. The 3-planes are at 90 degree angles and can be toggled with the “laser” button for different options. I think it would be great for installing grid-patterned recess lights. The light is super clear even throughout the whole floor of my house. It will be perfect for a new construction project in leveling the floors or ceilings. During my renovation, I remember spending extra time with another laser, but this wouldve made it much easier, since it self-adjusts up to 4 degrees. The only thing i didnt like is that it lets out a loud alarming beeping sound when it is not level. Say, if you were trying to do a handrail, it will be beeping the entire time. I havent found a way to fix that yet. The mount has several functions – clamp tool, height adjustment, and magnetic backing. I think the height adjustment is great for ceilings because you can place the mount about an inch to the ceiling and slowly adjust it to as close as you need – much easier than trying to get it straight as you bump the ceiling. Overall, i think it is pretty functional. FYI, it uses 4 AA batteries.

I’ll definitely be using a lot less chalk lines and marks for a lot of different projects. I used it to install some shelves and some cabinets already and it works great. I can’t wait to get the Bosch stand for it because I think it definitely will work better with the stand. This laser is perfect for anyone that works in the remodeling business or flooring or anything that requires some straight edges. I own the smaller single Bosch laser but this is definitely the pro up grade I needed. The green laser is very visible and that’s definitely my favorite thing about it. Outside it’s a little tougher to see it but in a well lit room its highly visible. I checked the laser lines for square and level just to make sure and it was spot on.gery accurate. I also really like how I can find tune it because it has a up and down adjustment knob and extendable legs for balance. Also a lock to keep a position and a just laser line feature for different projects. It came with a carry case and a pouch for the actual laser to protect it well. It’s really easy to use and doesn’t have a bunch of confusing buttons. It even warns me if I have to adjust if it’s moved to much and starts to beep. The adjustable mount is really nice and can be fine tuned and can also be mounted magnetically. For me as a remodeler it’s a must have that is a game changer. I wish I would’ve gotten the 3 laser sooner. It’s definitely the way to go and i think any pro would love it.

The Bosch 300 ft. Self-Leveling Green 360-Degree Laser Level is a great level or laser transit. It makes a 2 man job into a 1 man job, allowing horizontal leveling of door frames, wallpaper, and other plumb tasks. It works on my Stabila tripod and should work on any tripod. It has two plumb lines at 90 degrees to each other. The green laser light reaches further than any red laser light and is much easier to see.
