Spend the extra money and get this model!!Don’t buy any model lower than this one!I bought it for a floor leveling project and it made the job so much easier. I’ve now used it so many times to do all kinds of projects from hanging 1 picture to gauging the fall on a French drain!!!!

The Bosch self leveling laser level did work well and performed as advertised. The only issue is the high price of this unit. The less expensive model of Bosch laser level might be a better choice for most projects.

Item worked great, I’m remodeling a home that nothing, I repeat nothing is level or plumb, this item saved much time over pulling sting lines t follow as I jacked the floors back to level. Set up is easy. Simplicity of the tool function is just that,…. simple. Lines are easy to see indoors, as I have not tried outdoors I cannot comment. Only thing I did not like is it would have been better with a hard case to protect it when not in use and in transit or storage to prevent accidental damage, tho this has no effect to function of the tool. Purchased hard Appache case at HFT that worked perfectly to remedy this. Would I purchase again and recommend, most definately

I purchased this along with a tripod for my kitchen remodel. Specifically for hanging the cabinets. I can’t believe the uses I’m coming up with for this tool. I wish I purchased this year’s ago.

The laser works well, and has a magnetic bracket for attaching the laser to a metal surface. The magnets aren’t strong enough to attach very well to a metal drywall-corner bead, but it attaches well to the positioning device that comes with the laser. And the positioning device has a convenient knob adjustment that moves the laser up or down about 3″ on its metal plate to fine-tune the laser to a target. The positioning device can be hung from a screw head. But for tiling a shower wall, the trick is to find a way to set the laser for each course of tile. I’m going to screw a long angle iron to the wall, and attach little bolts every 3″ to hang to positioning device. That will add about $30 and some time. Alternatively, you could get a tripod or a pole. The pole seems over-priced, but I suppose the time I’m spending making my contraption would offset that.

I would really like to see a better case to carry it in, you have all the accessory’s so you really need like a 12 volt drill size bag for it, also the battery’s were very old and didn’t last the first day

Hard to see red light

It seems to work pretty well. The on / off switch is a little harder to operate than I would like.

To be honest, I don’t know if the leveling is working correctly. But I will inspect and return it if it isn’t. Seems to be nice and bright!

The laser was not as bright as I had hoped for. Good for indoors but not much use outdoors.
