The Bosch GLL 50 Self-Leveling Cross-Line Laser Kit features a laser with vertical, horizontal and cross-line modes that projects 2-lines independently or together. This permits a broad array of alignment and leveling applications. The laser lines are visible up to 50 ft., with an accuracy of plus/minus 1/8 in. at 33 ft. The included BM3 Positioning Device offers quick setup in ceiling grid applications and free-standing mode with its retractable feet. This laser is built with sturdy over-molded construction for durability.

This unit met my needs for the job I was doing today. Would be nice to have it remember the last setting when turned off , then back on to last setting. Nice bright line great to have a unit that has a good thick line to work with.

The Bosch GLL-50 save tons of time and improved accuracy. I install menu boards – MBs- for a chain a fast food restaurants. The MBs are 18′ wide and require 2 parallel french mounting cleats precisely 32″ apart. Snapping a chalk line was frequently undesirable because the line “tattoo” was often difficult to remove completely. The GLL-50 made it possible to perfectly align 2 parallel tracks quickly and accurately in half the time on site.

The level worked very well for aligning bathroom accessories at a consistent height. Make sure you have a tripod to mount the device for ease of use, and alignment accuracy. The green laser would probably be easier to use because of brightness in sunlit or bright areas.
