The Bosch BLAZE GLM 20 X Laser Measure is an easier, faster way to one-person measuring, instead of the old conventional tape measure. It is a recently introduced unit in the BLAZE lineup of laser measures which are designed to allow users to reach farther, work faster and stay accurate. With the click of a single button, the GLM 20 X delivers laser precision technology and real-time measurement mode, taking instant and reliable measurements up to 65 ft. This allows one person to size up the job in seconds. Square and compact by design, this laser measure is ready for anywhere portability. It has a backlit display for easy viewing, even in dark areas. The laser measure is simple to operate, so users need only press one button to get accurate measurements to within 1/8 in. and press again to hold the measurement.

I purchased this in store and had no problems using it right away. Simple to operate out of the box, and it comes with a handy lanyard as well. I compared it to a regular tape measure and once I realized the laser measure starts at the back of the unit, not where the laser comes out, it was exactly the same as a manual measure… only much easier! Makes taking wall measurements for paint calculations a breeze.

A simple, but yet easy, efficient and fast measurement device.For people moving in a new place looking for furniture to fit in, quick measurements at their new home and at a store is as easy as it gets. I would still bring a regular measurement tape with me, but most of the time it is cumbersome.I would highly recommend this product for its practicality.

I’m probably not the right person to review this, but maybe I’m the perfect person because I sincerely dislike any type of “out of office work”. But this thing is pretty much idiot (me) proof. I’ve used it on several occasions and haven’t had any issues. Did I double check the measurements? No, but I’m hoping this thing is worth the $40+ spent on it. One odd note – I saved like $7 by ordering this online. I even had to BUY ONLINE and “Pick up in store” (are you listening Home Depot?!) while I was IN the store because Home Depot the store wouldn’t price match their own online prices.

I was installing 18 foot trusses in my cabin floor by myself, so measuring each truss over that distance was going to be difficult. I was skeptical these would be accurate, but after 5 minutes of usage, I was SOLD. Accurate to 1/16” over the 18 feet, and trust me, I double and triple-checked it.Highly recommended!!
