Great device for quick mesurements in when in the constuction process but the accuacy becomes less when it hits shiny objects (specifically polished metal and high gloss tile.) A pleasent suprise when it was able to measure exterior in shaded areas and before afternoon sun. Once it is high sun forget about using it outside. A general note for anyone using, It is best to to rest agaist a soild or stationary object the laser only reads a at moment reading the best.

Bought this today and right away I was impressed with the functionality and accuracy.The problem was that the readout is small and the fractions of inches is ridiculously small, I literally have to go outside in the light, put on reader glasses and hold it at an angle 6 inches from my eyes and strain to read it.WHY oh Why???

Love it! Great of indoor measurements. Used it during home inspection to get quick measurements of the house we are buying. Can’t imagine fumbling with a measuring tape during that time. Tried to measure outdoor space during the day time and didnt seem to register. Guess will have to try in the evening/night so the sensor can capture the laser dot.
