The Bosch BLAZE Outdoor GLM 400 C Connected Laser Measure with Digital Viewfinder features an adjustable zoom to find the laser spot in sunlit conditions. The digital laser Measure also offers Bluetooth functionality, so users can digitally transfer measurements to a smartphone or tablet. The Bosch Blaze is a great tool to use. I have used it for projects as simple as putting in a counter top and as big as measuring out a space to divide up. I was able to use the MeasureOn App and use a picture of the space and then post measurements right to the picture and where i needed to see them. I then could take that picture with the measurements and send it to others to view and collect measurements from. I also liked the way it stores measurements, so if i need to go back and look at a few different measurements i didn’t have to remeasure. I also liked the ease of scrolling through the settings. I was able to find the settings i needed to adjust and quickly changed them. Its nice having the led screen to see where your laser is hitting at long distances and you can zoom in on the picture to see it better. It came with a nice carrying case that can attach to your belt or pocket for easy store and go. The battery compartment is easy to access and install the batteries. On the Bottom edge is a measuring pin for measuring at a outside corner. There is so much more to list but really don’t have the space to talk about it all. I have had mine for only a month and have used it quite a bit and it has met my expectations and i know that it will be a tool i will get a lot of use out of. I got mine for under $300 and its been well worth it. For the price point and the capabilities this is a great tool and i see it used in the construction industry a lot.

It’s okay. I was hoping this would more reduce time taking property measurements in the field, but it really just reduces legwork. The time it takes to switch modes is counterproductive. Would be nice to have a button to cycle between measuring modes. The screen cracked within days of putting it in my tool bag as well. I don’t have much in there so i am inclined to think the case could be a little more protective.

Easy to use. Don’t have to lock in the distance to measure. The leveler turns green when leveled. Its not to big to handle, fits comfortably in my hand. Does not measure anything less than 6 inches.

Great product, the camera with the magnifier is a great touch. You have 4 crop levels when you zoom in to make sure you have the correct spot( If you press the zoom button a 5th time you will go back to your original view. The app is well though out, I like the fact that you can make a punch list/ To Do and add it to your images. I need to play around with it some more, as I selected an app for the export as jpg default and now that I want to change it to something else I can’t. Other than that no complaints. Once you take a measurement, it pops up on your phone instantly in the measurement list panel(if you are connected via the bluetooth option). From here you can label your measurements which is good, see the pics below for a sampleUsing the Bluetooth:It took me a while so I will share this with you.Activate the Bluetooth on the measure, then on your phone or tablet. Download MeasureOn by Bosch, you will have to connect the Bluetooth device through this app, if you try and do it from your phone’s Bluetooth manager the measure will reject the connection.

Bought this device a year ago and have been mostly impressed. Amazing amount of features, not sure how many are practical. Came with some very useful software, hopefully they’ll be doing some updates to improve. Camera for view screen went down after 1 year of use – not great.

This thing is amazing. Huge upgrade for me. I had a Bosch laser measuring tool for the last 6 years and it recently fell, cracked, then was soaked and met its fate. As a daily use tool, it was a sad day. I took the time to upgrade to this bad boy and do not regret it. It is feature packed and can do 5x the things my last model could. It also shoots crazy far. Just to see if it could, shot some points around the yard and was easily getting points 300 feet away during the day. Buy it and don’t look back.

The Bad.The software is a key part of this tool and it still does not have a computer based version nor does it work for transferring images which is part of the reason for purchase also. In short I would give it a 5 stars other than these caveats which are a big deal to meThe good.The functions built into the unit is why I am still using it. The ability to measure the pipeline without getting down in the pit with everyone stopping work and to be able to do it myself. Figuring square footage and cubic footage

Very happy overall with this tool. Recommend a tripod for long-distance measurement to more quickly and accurately hit your mark, especially outdoors or in bright light conditions. Good value, and Home Depot had the best price that I could find for this.

BLAZE 400 ft. Outdoor Laser Measure with Bluetooth and Camera ViewfinderThis has a viewing camera with a good size picture screen to go along with the level meter and laser distance reading. I found this to work good indoors and outdoors at night, the laser showed up on a stop sign 393 feet away and gave a big bright red reflection on the stop sign making aiming the laser easy. Outside during the day I had a difficult time getting a reading in the sun or in partial shade.It had accurate measurements on the readings I could confirm during my testing.
