A magnified viewfinder assists with long range and outdoor measurements. This product is a bit pricey but worth it! Its very accurate and works well. It has many features that can speed up taking measurements that you can trust. I would highly recommend this product if you need to measure long distances indoors and outside.

I wasn’t sure whether to spend the extra, and I don’t have experience with lower priced types, but I’m 100% pleased with my decision to purchase this laser measure. At long distances you have to be sure to have something that will steady the device. And I had a slow learning curve on all the features, but that is my bad, not the device. I can now whiz through estimates by using it!!!

Good product; however, the missing useful feature is that, as it may be tripod-mounted & utilized for surveying is that it does not allow for measuring the difference from a baseline direction the angle to another horizontal direction which is a very basic ability of any device used in doing any type of surveying work –even ‘rough’ survey work which is what I’d intended is it possible that I’ve ‘missed’ this feature/ ability of this device? Also, when I purchased this device, I didn’t see the option to purchase an extended warranty as typically offered by Home Depot; is this available so I may purchase it?

Triple checked many measurements just to be safe, but this tool is better than advertised. The tripod mount and 1.6X Magnification View Finder with the red dot display are highly under advertised and make long measurements a piece of cake.
