The Bosch GOL 26CK automatic optical level kit features a self-leveling compensator, both horizontal/vertical cross hairs and Stadia lines. It has 26x magnification lenses and large aperture for clear image with a range of 330 ft. Includes: hard carrying case, lens cap, plumb bob, aluminum tripod, aluminum leveling, and adjustment tools.
- Accurate up to ±1/16 in. at 100 ft.
- Self-leveling compensator with transport lock protects pendulum in carrying case against damage and loss of calibration
- Horizontal/vertical crosshairs and stadia lines measures level, alignment and estimates distance
- Large aperture 26X-power lens allows more light for a sharper image and excellent magnification

package deal made this attractive and it does the job. The eye piece could be larger which would make it easier to use but once you get the system down it works well. Overall it is well built and should last a long time you need two humans it make it work but I understood that going in. It is accurate and needs no battery.

Level and tripod work great. The problem is the leveling rod. It has only imperial (inch and feet). I am in Canada here we use mostly metric. When HD customer service rep contacted Bosch they said that for North America only this leveling rod is available. This is very strange as most of the leveling rods here are with both systems. I returned the unit.

I haven’t used on a project yet but I did set it up and tested accuracy, etc. Product works well and is very accurate, especially for the price. Easy to set up and light-weight…easy to carry around. Nice case for the instrument as well.
