This is a great, inexpensive tool for marking things. I use it in my construction business to mark level lines on walls and especially for marking where a light fixture goes on the ceiling. I measure on the floor or countertop first then put the laser on top of the mark and it shows a spot on the ceiling where the fixture should go. Love it!

Very easy to use and saved us a lot of time. I bought the tripod as well so we could keep every plaque we installed level on a 60′ long wall. Blinking light on top tells you are close to level. When you rotate the laser horizontally on the tripod if you didn’t have the tripod level the light blinks telling you to adjust. After getting it all set up rotating it left to right all the way down the wall made the installation all that much easier.

This is the third one of these I purchased. They work beautifully. Every one has tested to be in perfect alignment upon opening the package and putting in the batteries. BUT when finishing a project, remove the batteries! If the batteries corrode, they can ruin the instrument.
