Pretty easy to use, just place it on something level and turn it on (it’s auto leveling). All the red dots are square and plum with each other respectively. I used mine on a camera tripod so to adjust for the uneven floor as I moved along a wall. Just make sure you reference your level with the previous marks as you move forward. The red laser dot also has a trace lines (cross-hair) that’s easier to see in darker areas, in daylight you’ll just see a dot.

The Bosch 5 point level is easy to use and set up. I built a 24ft x 24ft wood deck with concrete footers and this laser level is perfect for the job. I have always recommended Bosch products to my friends and this self leveling 5 point laser is great. Battery operated and great magnetic and tripod mounts to almost anything

Purchased this product a week ago. Used it to install 9 canned lighting fixtures in a large room remodel project. Tried the old tape measure first. Needed a perfect grid layout to be installed between trusses that were ran both 180 and 90 degrees. Had to move grid several times because the truss prints were off. The Laser tool saved the day. What could have been A nightmare turned out to be a fun project thanks to the Bosch laser. Many thanks to the engineer that designed this outstanding tool.

First one arrived on time but did not work at all. Not sure if it’s a common problem for “reconditioned” items. Was told to return it to the store for fastest/easy refund.The store was a little confused by an online order paid for w/ paypal, but eventually figured it out.I ordered another one and it seems to be working just fine so far.
