The Factory Reconditioned Bosch Self-Leveling Rotary Laser Level Kit allows you to level, align and square. A 2-person job now becomes one with this self-leveling horizontal and vertical rotary laser. Start working right out of the box with the included leveling rod, tripod and laser receiver.

Actually it performed well. I put in 150 posts with it and all were within 1/4”. and that was at a distance of 50’. The laser receiving device is kinda small and makes a challenging target, but does work well enough to get the job done. worked easiest at night without receiver!

I used this unit to shoot an elevation on my 49 bay house foundation piles. This is a used unit (the batteries were very weak and there was dirt up in the battery cavity) The unit performed as new. This is definitely not an optical use laser unless you’re working inside or close to dark conditions as you can see the laser for only 20′ or so in the daylight. The red glasses helped a lot but you still lose the definitive line after 20′. I started late afternoon and it was a real blessing when it got dark. After a bit of practice the receiver unit functions well, just be patient as there’s a slight delay in the receiver processing the signal before it beeps. The receiver window has to be closer to a right angle to the laser sending unit. If you get too far of an angle it won’t read. It would be better if the tripod had a crank adjustment to fine tune the elevation when you have to move the unit due to obstructions. The unit stops rotating when you move the tripod to adjust the laser up or down. I feel it worked well.
