The Bosch GRL800-20HVK Self-Leveling Rotary Laser Kit delivers an all-in-1 package for outdoor and indoor leveling. It features a horizontal/vertical self-leveling laser, suitable for leveling, aligning and squaring applications. Easy to use, the laser delivers 3/16 in. accuracy at 100 ft. and working range of up to 800 ft.

Great laser and very easy to setup and use. I have always been looking for a simple and easy to use laser and this is the one. Setup take seconds in that it levels itself unlike previous systems which you had to level yourself. It comes with a measuring pole and a receiver which works great once you get it all setup. I read the instructions but ultimately you need to just mess with it to figure out it. I found that there are two sensitivities on the laser receiver and you really need to run the laser at high speed when using the highest sensitivity otherwise it can be a little frustration. Like I mentioned though, once you mess with it for a short period of time you can get this figured out and working exactly they way you want it. Love it and love how simple it is. Love the case and how everything sits right in there. Mine came with a mount for drop ceilings and although I dont have a use for that you can see how this would make installing drop ceilings a complete cake walk.

Fantastic Bosch Quality Shines Again. What a handy and well made Laser level. The main laser is powered by 2 D cell regular batteries that are contained in a compact, easy to remove & re-install carrier AND batteries are included. The heavy duty tri-pod is solid and the legs extend with a simple flip of a nice wide lever and work smooth as silk. They also have heavy foot treads to help settle legs solidly into the ground. Works well even for vertical wall leveling so all 4 corners are in perfect alignment. The Laser receiver and the ceiling measuring plats have good powerful magnets to hold in place. Make sure you use the included protective glasses. It is just not worth the risk of eye damage. To negative items on this kit;1) There is no remote included.2) For me a real bummer is the tripod and leveling rod do not attach to the carrying case. I used 36″ bungee cords to keep them attached to the carrying case. Then I can use my other hand to carry whatever else I need. AND I will not loose or leave either one behind.One Hint: if you do not keep batteries installed then for safety put blue painters tape over one end, especially on the 9V. I often find loose nails everywhere and tape will prevent starting a fire and losing valuable tools.

It’s ok…. can’t see the laser on the wall 20 feet away from it on the tripod. And that’s indoors. The receiver is kinda cheap. Need to have a level bubble on it. Gets the job done but definetly better ones out there. Will be returning mine…

The unit works but does not zero in well for tone. I point to the small receiver area and large width laser. This should be a longer laser detect as the Berger uses. I have an used newer Berger receiver I am going to try with this see if it works any better. It gets you to within a 1/4 but never finds tone. I did expect a little more for 500 clams. Would I recommend that is up to you on how fine a result you are looking for it works but I like to hear tone on zero not up down beeping
