This bit set is nice..however! I’m guessing the ceramic tile I am attempting to drill holes in is much harder than most ceramic tiles..I have 8 holes to drill for a shower door install and at the pace I’m going( drilling in short burst while spraying with water) I have my cordless hammer drill set on hammer.. I will continue on at a slow pace…I built this shower from the floor up, so I dont want to crack any tiles now for sure!

This is a nice set that does its job well. I tested out the 1/4″ bit on three different types of tile – ceramic, glass and granite. It blew through the granite in a matter of a couple seconds and took roughly 10 seconds to complete the hole on the ceramic tile. It took quite a bit longer with the glass tile to complete the hole and the tile actually broke at the end; however, that was mostly my fault as I probably should have chosen a smaller bit to use on a 1×2″ piece of tile. I have full confidence that with a smaller bit or larger glass tiles this set would work beautifully. I also appreciate the sturdy case these bits come in. Definitely recommend this set!

Would not drill porcelain tile without a starter hole. Smaller bit only cut one hole. Went and bought a diamond bit.
