Very good product. Worked well with setting lines for my drop in ceiling project. Would have given it 5 stars if it could be tilted to project line. You have to have the laser level box at the same height as the line you want to project. I attached a 2″ x 2″ board to stick above a 6′ step ladder and attached the laser level to the board at 8′ to set the lines for my 8′ drop ceiling wall channels. Still very useful and MUCH better than using regular level.

Very nice tool for the price. Don’t think you will be able to use it outdoors in a day lite though. Otherwise it’s great. I used it on my last bathroom tiling project. I was tiling with large format tiles (12×24) and this laser leveler was great help with that.

It makes layout easy

WORKED GREAT THE CLIP ALLOWED ME TO ATTACH IT TO MIRROR SO I COULD MAKE A LEVEL CUT OUT FOR THE CABINETS I INSTALLED INTO THE WALL

The area needs to bee darkened to see the lines.

Definitely not for outdoor use. Extremely dim and unusable beyond 3 inches of the surface even in overcast weather. Disappointing.

This is an excellent laser tool. I usually use the self-levelling. It only takes a couple seconds to steady out once I have it mounted where I want it. And the line seems to go a lot farther than the advertised 35 feet. I can use it correctly at 50 feet away. Small, lightweight, inexpensive, very adaptable clamp for mounting.

Working perfectly, reasonable price.Actually you can’t buy a line laser with clamping mount as this cost. It is just 10/10

Great little laser line level for the money. I used it yesterday to set the top of my first row of tiles for a tub surround. The self- leveling is great- you don’t have to worry that it might have been bumped out of level. If the line is still on your benchmark you’re good to go.

I used it to put up wire shelves at home and it worked perfectly. I even use the manual lever to make sure laser level was level and it was perfect. Laser line was bright, but using inside the house. Like the selection of level type: horizontal, vertical or both. Makes the job much easier and precise. Happy I bought it. I believe I got my money’s worth with the first use.

Works okay. Beam is kind of weak.

Going to be returning it this weekend. Not very good for suspended ceiling. Will be up grading.

Use it everyday

I used the self leveling laser to install a series of shelves to run parallel with a staircase. The level was easy to use, easy to clamp and will definitely be used in further home improvement projects.

I am on the fence on recommending this. It does work, including the self-leveling. However, it can be a little frustrating to use. Every time you jostle it just a little the laser will go nuts for a while until they find level again. If you are trying to line up the laser with a mark, this can be a little frustrating. Move it slightly, then wait for it to calm down. Keep doing this until it is good. Maybe there is a tripod that has very smooth adjustments and this would not be a problem. I don’t have that kind of tripod. It seems to be selling for cheaper now. I paid more for mine and at the price I paid it was a questionable value. However, at the new lower price, I think it is worth picking up.
