Laser was bright and visible clearly over a 90 degree view range from the device. Self leveling settled after a few seconds to the correct level. However, it’s not possible to lock a leveled setting because the slightest shake rocks the laser a lot. I recommend using this with a tripod.

Set up tolerance of +- 4-deg makes its use very limited.

Red line. Not too bright but visible

GREAT PRODUCT. I work in manufacturing and this is used in our Quality Department – it works great & you can’t beat the price.. along with the Home Depot “quick” delivery/Service.

Sure beats a plumb bob and level.

Great tool for this home gamer/DIY guy. I doubt the lines are bright enough for a pro. They drop off quickly. Build quality is what I would expect from BOSCH, very good.

Worked as advertised. Perfect to help alignment and a straight line for multiple pictures, etc

While the laser is not mega bright if there is a lot of light around, it still works well. I used it to build and hang shelves in my garage. The self-leveling feature is great, and the clamp works well. Good buy for the price

For the price this is awesome piece of equipment. I’ve used it for a line in cabinets I’ve used it for marking the outside parameters of walls to install shelving

Used for suspended ceiling. I could see the beam on one full and a partial on the two adjacent walls. Out of caution, I set up to see the fourth wall, and everything was level. The price I paid on sale was about $40. Much cheaper than a rotating laser level, especially for a one time job. BTW I’m a musician, so I used a microphone stand to get the height for the laser.
