The Bosch Tile Laser Square Laser Level features 2 lasers that can project up to 30 ft. to ensure sufficient space for markings. Integrated vials provide additional accuracy when attempting to achieve level surfaces. Batteries are included to let you get working right away. Includes bonus GLL 2 laser. The Bosch GLL 2 self-leveling cross-line laser is a compact leveling and alignment solution. The GLL 2 features a smart pendulum system that self-levels and indicates out-of-level condition, offers switch slider to lock for transport. Easy to use 1 button allows 1 to choose between cross-line, horizontal or vertical lines depending on the application.

I ordered this to add as a backup on a tiling job. It is different from my other one as it doesn’t have an automatic lock once it levels. I have to manually lock it and it does cause it to shake a little. Otherwise it looks and works good!

I am on the fence on recommending this. It does work, including the self-leveling. However, it can be a little frustrating to use. Every time you jostle it just a little the laser will go nuts for a while until they find level again. If you are trying to line up the laser with a mark, this can be a little frustrating. Move it slightly, then wait for it to calm down. Keep doing this until it is good. Maybe there is a tripod that has very smooth adjustments and this would not be a problem. I don’t have that kind of tripod. It seems to be selling for cheaper now. I paid more for mine and at the price I paid it was a questionable value. However, at the new lower price, I think it is worth picking up.

Definitely not for outdoor use. Extremely dim and unusable beyond 3 inches of the surface even in overcast weather. Disappointing.

I used it to put up wire shelves at home and it worked perfectly. I even use the manual lever to make sure laser level was level and it was perfect. Laser line was bright, but using inside the house. Like the selection of level type: horizontal, vertical or both. Makes the job much easier and precise. Happy I bought it. I believe I got my money’s worth with the first use.
