The Bosch GTS1031 15 Amp Table Saw is built with a robust 15 Amp motor and designed for portability. It’s light enough to carry in 1 hand. This saw boasts a rip capacity of up to 18 in. and is equipped with a square-lock rip fence that self-aligns for accuracy. It clamps into channels on either side of the table to keep things consistently square. Safety features include a riving knife, anti-kickback pawls, blade guard and a push stick. Includes GTA500 lightweight Folding Table Saw Stand. The Bosch Tool-Free Folding Table Saw Stand is the perfect accessory to accompany your Bosch Table Saw. The stand lets you attach and detach your saw in seconds, without tools. Even though it’s lightweight, it features a sturdy, all-steel design with a solid center of gravity.

This is a nice little job site saw. Gets the job done. It is relatively lite and easy to carry. Has plenty of power. The blade was parallel to the fence from the factory. If neede it can be used with dado blades unlike some of the competition (the yellow and black saw for example). The only little thing i did not like is that the tool came without the sawdust collection bag. Bosch is too cheap to include this 5-dollar accessory. The bag suggested for this saw by the Home Depot site did not fit the dust collection port.

I’ve owned a Dewalt 745 in the past and loved the fence system and had planned on buying another one, however I ended up buying the Bosch today at my local Home Depot. I ran the saw this afternoon making rip and miter cuts with pine and ash, the saw is accurate and true straight out of the box. The fence is actually nice, although it doesn’t have the rack and pinion design that the Dewalt has, I have to say that I’m very happy with how smooth it is with solid lock. I love the large power switch, it’s actually more functional than the Dewalt. The fact that I can load my stacked dado on this is a big plus, something that I the Dewalt can’t do. The Dewalt is still in my opinion the best contractor saw on the market, but the Bosch is right up there side by side with it. One of the other reviewers complained about how loud the saw is, it’s actually about as loud as the Dewalt. When I power a saw up I want it to be loud, I want everyone around to know it’s running for safety reasons. Highly recommend.

I narrowed my decision to this saw or the DeWalt portable saw. This saw has a dado option, the DeWalt does not. I used that as the deciding factor. The reality is a rarely do dado cuts. The fact that this saw is heavier and does not have a gear driven fence are two of the things I would have had with the DeWalt. If I had to do it again, I would have purchased the DeWalt.

Very satisfied excellent saw. Accurate cuts, fence, power. Storage on its side in my limited garage space doesn’t take up much space. This was the feature (storage) along with the 10 inch blade that beat out the Dewalt. Yes it’s heavier but i don’t carry it far so not a concern for me, besides a heavy table saw is a better saw. I do precision cuts, and have plenty of experience with table saws.

A little disappointed. The blade as shipped was out of alignment by approx 1/32″. I have spent many hours trying to correct this. I can get it nearly perfect, but when I tighten the bolts to lock it in, the blade always returns to the exact original out of alignment condition. It will still meet my basic needs so I give it an average rating.
