This 4-1/2 in. ergonomic angle grinder features a narrow GRIPZONE for all-day comfort and control, combined with a powerful 10 Amp motor. The Bosch GWS10-45DE delivers results, producing up to 11,000 no-load rpm for maximum productivity in grinding and cutting applications. The tool weighs 4.4 lbs. It features a multi-grip paddle switch, which provides increased grip options for better ergonomics, comfort and control. The no-lock-on paddle switch function provides rapid shutdown of the motor after the switch is released. Equipped with epoxy-coated field windings, double-sealed gear housing and direct-motor cooling, this grinder is built for a longer tool life. What an amazing grinder, its so easy to use, has a vibration control handle installed on the side, with comfortable grip. The slide switch has an easy access .I have used it to sharpen the mower blades, several shovels, all of which is a money saving for DIY like I am. At the rear is a Lock-on switch, without having to keep it depressed while grinding or sanding. There accessories available such as a cutting guard, or hand shield. Excellent product.

The BOSCH 4 ½ inch 10 Amp angle grinder has all the power I need for grinding and cutting. The anti-vibration side handle can be placed on either side of the unit and it has a paddle power switch that does not allow the unit to run unless it is pressed in and quickly shuts down the motor when it is released.The position of the wheel guard is adjustable and allows me to use the tool in a number of different angles. It weighs almost 4 ½ pounds and is comfortable to use and easy to control. BOSCH says that this unit produces up to 11,000 no-load RPMs and has a more durable motor than previous models. The arbor is 7/8 of an inch.The unit comes with (1) Anti-Vibration Auxiliary Handle, (1) Wheel Guard, (1) Flange Kit, (1) Spanner Wrench, (1) Abrasive Wheel. There are a number of accessories available for almost any use you can imagine although the Home Depot website only shows a cut-off wheel.Every BOSCH tool that I own is a high quality item and I believe that this one follows suit.

Needed a higher amperage grinder for working on concrete. Have only used a few hours but can see that it is well built and hopefully will be more reliable under heavy duty work than lower priced units. Might change the rating to 5 starts after longer use if performs satisfactorily.

Good quality angle grinder with nice features. I use a 4 1/2 “ grinder for cutting metal and grinding. This grinder has plenty of power. It’s not too heavy for long time use. The paddle switch has a good grip and works well for easy on/off. It was easy to assemble putting my cutting disc in and using the wrench provided tightens easily. Love that the guard is easy to install and adjust. The anti-vibration handle is great. Would love to have another and keep a grinding wheel on it. Nice grinder.
