I’m a professional contractor & have used many other concrete core drilling bits over the past 40 years. This core drilling bit exceeded any others I’ve used before, it’s carbide cutting teeth breezed through the concrete and even some unexpected re-bar. With the re-bar in bedded areas of concrete I just let the drill do the work. When drilling into concrete always wear eye, ear protection & dust mask. To use this bit you will have to screw the bit onto a Bosch SDS-Max core adapter in order to use it. This Bosch concrete core bit is by far a better quality bit than I’ve ever used to core concrete before.

As a professional contractor I’ve used many types of coring bits over the past 30 years and by far this one tops them all – the carbide cutting teeth breezes through concrete and rebar ( with a any concrete with inbedded rebar let the drill do the work and wear eye and ear protection ) all in all this is a quality product that exceded my expectations.

I got this to bore through block to install water lines from a new well pump and it’s awesome. Obviously, I needed to get a Bosch CAM018 adapter to use it and paired with my Bosch rotary hammer, it made simple work drilling the hole. I did notice that the bit said it was 2-5/8″ stamped on the side but no biggie, the diameter of the hole is going to deviate slightly as it pulverized the CMU but made a good clean hole. I have always been pretty happy with Bosch and will continue to grow my collection with Bosch as I find I need more.
