Originally, I had a Milwaukee hammer drill, but it was showing it’s age. I was not thrilled with the new Milwaukee brand so I allowed myself to use smaller hammer drills. After a stint of replacing smaller drills every so many months, I decided to move up. Everyone was telling me to get a 10 amp, but this definitely does the job. I primarily used this for drilling anchors in concrete to using it as a hole saw. I had no issues with anything. No failures, the chuck is solid, at the same time it is not too heavy or awkward.

We have used the drill twice now and it seems to be the one we have been looking for. The chuck uses a key so you can lock the drill or hole saw in and have it stay. Our experience with other name brand manufactures drills have been less than desirable.

I bought this tool a couple of weeks ago and everything seems to be up to Bosch standards which is very high. It has plenty of power and feels good in your hands. I really like having two drive speeds and the fact that this drill is not huge or overly heavy. It comes with a nice case also.
