This hole saw was purchased for one job only, cutting a clean hole through my home’s brick exterior for a dryer vent. It did this fairly well, but seemed to struggle a bit on solid portions of mortar. I ended up drilling small holes in the circle pattern, about 1/4 way through the job, which relieved some of the burden on the hole saw and helped it cut faster the rest of the way through.

Truthfully, I didn’t use it. My son in law used it to install a bathroom exhaust fan in my house I was selling, to be vented to the exterior, per County code for re-occupancy. Since he told me to buy it, (around Father’s Day 2018) he knew what he needed to get the job done. I know he was happy with its performance because he showed me. It got the job done and the house passed County inspection, so it met both our expectations.
