The Bosch HS1470 3/4 in. x 10 in. Viper Flat Chisel SDS-Plus Bulldog Xtreme is ideal for demolition work, breakthroughs, adjustment work, restoring joints and clearing reinforcements. It provides a unique cutting head with Power Ribs and Viper Teeth, which are extra wedges for faster breakout. They create not only lateral cracks but also additional vertical cracks, for a no-jam design. This self-sharpening tool provides longer life and no additional sharpening hassle.

Great size. Easy to maneuver when chipping away at blocks. Fits perfectly in my SDS hammer drill. Great for shaping concrete blocks. The chisel tip is one inch long. And there are grooves on both sides that corrects itself and allows the tip to always be sharp. The metal shaft is very durable and wont bend or snap even with a decent amount of weight on it.

Another great Bosch product! Beats-up brick, mortar, concrete with ease. Fits SDS-Plus hammers from Bosch and other makers.Good size for many jobs. The steel is very hard yet very tough, won’t go blunt soon. Shape is designed to get the breakage started, then wedge the work apart and shatter it to bits. The SDS system grips the bit with hard steel balls. This allows easy insertion, perfect retention even as the hammer is banging away, yet easy removal when you need to change bits. An excellent chuck design. When you order, be sure what you need. “SDS” comes in several sizes. This one is SDS-Plus (SDS+). Another is SDS-Max for bigger hammers and bits for larger work. Be sure to match the bit to the chuck on your hammer.
