The Bosch HS1470 3/4 in. x 10 in. Viper Flat Chisel SDS-Plus Bulldog Xtreme is ideal for demolition work, breakthroughs, adjustment work, restoring joints and clearing reinforcements. It provides a unique cutting head with Power Ribs and Viper Teeth, which are extra wedges for faster breakout. They create not only lateral cracks but also additional vertical cracks, for a no-jam design. This self-sharpening tool provides longer life and no additional sharpening hassle.

As a plumber I require tools that do the job I get them to do, no excuses, no let downs. This Bulldog Chisel does just that. I used it to chip up some old mortar base from under a tub that was ripped out. I also used it to open some concrete for a relocated shower drain. I have many of these tools and they have been very very reliable and have never let me down. They’re so good, the only time I’ve had to get new ones is when someone else takes mine.

Worket great on brick mortar joints. Trick is to let the drill do the work. Find a joint, squeeze the trigger and push lightly. Also used to split brick where necessary. Edges are rounded now after 6 hours use.

This is a high quality SDS PLUS flat chisel. I used it with my Milwaulkee rotary hammer M18 and it effortlessly dislodged a whole of tiles. The chisel allows a high level of precision and seems very durable. It is quite long which is great as it gives perfect balance for the tool, reducing arms and back pains. It is made in Italy, and as with any Bosch item, it seems to have been designed with the user in mind. I highly recommend this item.
