This is my second Bosch sander. I still use the first one. Wanted to be able to have 2 different grits when I am sanding.

I had an old jig saw for more than 20 years, which I decided to replace.I started with a $30 saw, then watched some videos and really learned what features make a good one.The Bosch is a good one.One really good thing is the lack of vibrations- the old one jumped a lot.It has a really good system for installing and removing blades.I think the orbital settings will prove useful for cutting a range of things up to a small tree that needs some trimming (I got some 5 inch blades for that).I like the little knob that can be used to control the maximum speed. There are a lot of blades available.

The saw worked well so far. The kit did not contain “assorted blades”

Very good tool.

I have a wood shop and use this sander all day every day, and it has proved very durable. The only flaw on this unit is the dust collector. It uses a hard shell “bag” with a filter in it. Its very hard to empty, and after taking it on and off many times to be emptied, it got lose and eventually would just fall off. A simple screw on bag would work better. Also, it’s a little under powered, so don’t buy if your going to use for stripping.

Easy to assemble, worked great for sanding my deck, I recommend this.

Smooth operation. Bosch includes instructions on brush changes, so I’m planning to use this tool for awhile … unlike the two competitive brands that are now trash.

Seems to do everything thing one would expect in jigsaw. No complaints.

I have 3 sanders (4 if you include the PorterCable Oscillating multifunction tool): Makitta finishing orbital and DeWalt orbital, both of these use the flat 1/4 sheet sandpaper.I prefer to start the sanding projects using the Bosh random orbital because this sander removes wood, paint and bondo in no time.Pro’s: fast material removal, easy disc change and has a dust filter.Con’s: filter needs to be cleaned frequently and the cap to the dust reservoir is difficult to lift off. Cannot sand inside corners.

I’ve been woodworking for about 8 years now and the third tool I bought was this jig saw. I use this saw primarily for breaking down rough boards before taking them to the planer. This saw has plenty of power and the ergonomics is nice. The variable speed makes cutting certain material or even thinner material nice and gives me more control. It’s performed very well over the years and I still use it to this day. I use the Bosch T234x blades when breaking down my stock and it cuts nice and fast. The carrying case could be a touch bigger but i’m not going to complain about it. The cloth case is nicer than the plastic cases other brands give you.

Easy device to use with quality. But not good for corners.

We purchased this to sand down a 15 year old deck that had been clawed up by 2 large dogs and had a lot of wear and tear from the elements . This sander was easy to use and had more than enough power for the job . I can’t wait for our next project

Got the job done!

This thing works. It stops spinning when you lift if off the wood, a safety feature. Must use the filter, else it blows dust everywhere. Filter box fills fast so every 5 minutes on wood you need to stop and shake it out. A little difficult for me to get the filter box off since it has an O-ring air tight fit. The on/off switch is not easy to operate with thick leather gloves on– much easier with your bare finger. Glad I bought this. There’s something satisfying about having a quality tool in your hands.

I think this thing works great! I would have given it 5 stars if the grip pad was a bit smaller. My hand is small, being a female, so it’s harder to grip and my hand tires faster, but it still works great. I would definitely recommend this.

Very fine jigsaw, cut step stringers with it the day i bought it. Ate through the 2×12 with ease.

This is the best sander ever. Please stop sending me emails asking for me to review this product. But it is a very good sander
