I had a 6″ Dewalt orbital but I was getting “swirlies” on my finished wood surfaces. I used the Bosch and had zero problems. I used the punched holes sanding disks. It made a huge difference.

It’s smooth and you don’t have to work hard to use. Doesn’t “walk” away from you while using it.

It didn’t catch all the dust but it certainly made it bearable , does a great job.

“assorted blades” turns out to be a single blade. False advertising. Otherwise not a bad value, good power. Variable speed is a nice feature at this price point. Now I just gotta buy some extra blades.

It didn’t cut straight, and the plastic guide broke off.

I’ve used my Jig Saw on a number of projects now, each time with great confidence. It’s light, easy to handle and steer. Best of all is the blade changing feature makes switching blades super easy. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I’ve used the saw to make some plunge cuts in plywood. So far, it’s done the job fine. However, I like tools that have longevity, and only time will tell whether this saw meets that criteria.

Bought saw specifically to cut counter top to install sinks. It was actually a first doing curve cuts and the tool performed well. It was easy to handle and moved quickly through the material. Also, the Bosch blades used were a good match for the job. Visibility of the work surface is good and the tool is easy to start and control.Had read reviews describing some trouble with blade removal, but have no issue so far. A brief description for handling blade jam events accompanied the tool and will be helpful if a problem does ever occur.Soft case is okay, but not ideal.

I really like the quick blade attachment and the availability now of reversible blades…. I used it to cut a small hole in sheet rock for a shower head and it did it’s job. I hadn’t used it until recently so could not rate it. Bosch has a good reputation for quality tools. This tool meets that expectation. An added bonus it comes with a tool soft case for the tool and blades, etc. Keeps it clean and organized.
