With a precision-machined plunging mechanism and low-vibration design this Bosch JS365 120-Volt, 6 Amp Jig Saw offers enhanced accuracy and smooth cutting. An ergonomic top handle and 2-finger trigger provide a comfortable, secure grip. The variable speed dial lets you set the dial to maximum speed and use the accelerator trigger to control it. Includes ROS20VSK – 5 in. Corded Random Orbital Sander with hard carrying case. The Bosch Palm Random Orbit Sander Kit is designed to give carpenters, cabinet makers, woodworkers and others exactly what they want, beginning with great performance and results. The optimized combination of pad orbit and rotation delivers fast removal and a well-blended, ultra-smooth finish. Great tool. This is one of those tools that I still like to have corded for stability and precision. I am a weekend project guy so want to be clear on that. After reading the reviews on The Bosch5 in Variable-Speed Random Orbit Sander/Polisher Kit I purchased the sander and was surprised how well it captures most of the dust. I have other less expensive sanders that even with a mask on I can taste the dust afterwards. I recently had lung surgery and do not need dust going into my lungs therefore I wholeheartedly recommend this sander.

This saw has cut beautifully for my first few projects. I will definitely be investing in the extraction tube for the dust because the dust blower doesn’t work as well as I would hope. Otherwise a great tool.

Everything about this sander is excellent except the fact that its not very stable while sanding. I rides all over the place and isn’t very easy to control compared the the 80 dollar dewalt sander I used in woodshop. The reason I chose the Bosch over the dewalt is I thought that Bosch would be made is Germany, but its not.

Excellent quality. Will last you for years. Plastic switch that controls the dust-blower nozzle is a bit flimsy, but that’s the only shortcoming and you rarely change the blower setting.The saw slides nicely along a metal ruler, so you can cut perfectly straight lines in plywood, etc. using the ruler as a guide. I cut some vinyl trellis with beautiful results (I use C-clamps to hold the ruler in place while I’m cutting).Comes with a big, rugged carrying case which can hold spare blades, instruction manuals, small tools, etc. Also has a long power cord for convenience. It’s packaged with only one blade, so buy extras.The blade moves straight up and down, or you can have the blade cut at an oscillating angle. Some materials slice better that way. The saw runs at varying speeds, depending on how hard you squeeze the trigger, and the saw has a control to limit the maximum speed.

I can’t give it 5 stars because sometimes the sandpaper pads fly off. I am installing it correctly and yet the pads sometimes would fall off the sander. Maybe it was the velcro on the pad but I just didn’t have a five star experience.
