With a precision-machined plunging mechanism and low-vibration design this Bosch JS365 120-Volt, 6 Amp Jig Saw offers enhanced accuracy and smooth cutting. An ergonomic top handle and 2-finger trigger provide a comfortable, secure grip. The variable speed dial lets you set the dial to maximum speed and use the accelerator trigger to control it. Includes ROS20VSK – 5 in. Corded Random Orbital Sander with hard carrying case. The Bosch Palm Random Orbit Sander Kit is designed to give carpenters, cabinet makers, woodworkers and others exactly what they want, beginning with great performance and results. The optimized combination of pad orbit and rotation delivers fast removal and a well-blended, ultra-smooth finish. Bosch’s integral pad dampening system, a pad breaking system, is designed to eliminate swirl marks, the most common complaint of sander users. A perfect jig saw from the inventor of this thing. It’s made in China, but the quality is superb.I was using this tool for cutting plexiglass and wood. It makes perfect cuts. Easy to see the cutting area and good maneuverability for its size. The motor is very powerful, and the blade replacement is super easy.It comes with plastic shoe cover for delicate materials, which was very helpful for me to avoid scratches on plexiglass.Very happy whit this tool. Definitely a keeper.

Sands things down much faster and easier than my old quarter sheet sander. It’s like it is more powerful, yet much quieter, and with less vibration. Seriously, at first I thought something was something wrong with it because it was so quiet and ran so smooth. Then I applied it to the wood, and soon fell in love. The dust collection system also works much better than I had expected. Love the variable speed feature to.

Ordered this online to get the hard case versus the soft case. Had previously borrowed the fixed speed version but opted for the variable speed. I started out with the lower speeds and ended up at the higher speed to move quickly. Adjustment dial and higher grit could be nice for going slow.

I did a lot of research and found this to be the best bang for the buck. I’m very happy with this jigsaw. It performs much better than any I’ve used in the past. I’m sure the newer 7amp is even better, but with the $30 sale at the time of my purchase, this model was literally half the price. For only half an amp difference, I feel like this is a better deal and perfectly suited for my needs. I honestly couldn’t be more satisfied. I look forward to getting a lifetime of use out of this excellent tool.

The carrying case has a “handy feature” which helps one to align the disks with the sander. It is not very helpful.

I now have 2 of these sanders. I bought 1 for wood working projects several years ago after I saw good ratings for its performance. It met my expectations with good sanding performance and good dust capture when connected to a vacuum system.I had an older, off-brand sander I use for nasty jobs like sanding boat bottoms. That sander died and I had to put my Bosch into service. It performed well last year, but that sort of work fills the sander with dust and contaminants you can never get out. I was going to buy another off-brand sander, but the Bosch wasn’t that much more expensive and now I have 2 – 1 for “clean” work and 1 for nasty work.

The sander does a great job. Its has plenty of power and is comfortable to operate. The dust collector twist on and off easily. The collector’s lid is a little tricky to remove but have patience, it will come off and go back on with a snug fit. I recommend the hard carrying case. Fast Shipping!

I bought this saw for a deck rebuilding project. I’m an advanced DYI’er and a professional woodturner so I’m rather picky about my tools. I read many reviews, but the real test is to pick up a tool and see well how it fits your hands and to get an idea of the manufacturing quality. When I picked up this saw the heft was just right, you know what I mean. Every other saw I picked up, either felt flimsy or cost more than I wanted to spend. This is my 3rd Bosch tool and I am very pleased. However, the cord could be a bit longer. With a longer cord I would have given this a 4.5 – 5 star rating.
