The Bosch jigsaw worked flawlessly. Having had two other brands of jigsaws, I found this to be the best of the lot. It’s weight and construction keeps it true resulting in clean and precise cuts.

I purchased this to replace a Bosch jigsaw I bought over 20 years ago that finally gave out. When possible, I will always buy Bosh tools.

When I read “cuts like a knife through butter” in the Reviews before I purchased. I thought. “Sure, but I’ll give it a try”. It cuts like butter. Amazing!!!!’

Took over 4 weeks to get this shipped to the store. Needless to say, the project had been done for about 26 days. I haven’t used them.

I bought this Steel T shank to help cut through some steel from the kitchen pipes since it leaks and some wood to make an outdoor area. I love this. It’s so durable even though I used it all day to cut some wood and metal for my work. It’s also sharp and efficient. It made my workload easier. What surprised me the most is how durable it was. I’ve been using this to cut wood and metal and that little small piece of metal is so strong.

I needed to cut an eight and one half hole through quarter inch steel and half inch concrete backer board in a tight place. I managed to brake five blades cutting into another piece of steel I could not see at the time. Being seventy four years old with arthritis I can say my hands still took a beating but not so much as the saw I wore out starting the project. Of course it was about thirty years old.

I made the choice between the Bosch top handle versus the barrel grip version and I am happy with my choice. Although the hand position is further away from your work, which could impact fine control, I learned that this version has 2 features that the barrel version does not have. (variable control finger trigger and the lock-toggle). For me the variable speed finger trigger makes a massive difference in choosing this version versus the barrel grip. I do not have both items in my hand to compare but it appears as though the barrel grip version picture is labeled wrong on the website. The 4 position orbital switch is mislabeled as the variable speed dial, which is actually on the tail end of the handle. The bosch website is labeled correctly. So if you want control with a finger trigger and the lock-on feature I recommend the handle version. If you don’t want those features and want to be closer to your work get the awesome barrel grip. Cheers. m/.
