The Bosch JS470E 7 Amp Jig saw features constant response circuitry for precise, consistent performance. The low-vibration design for smooth cutting up to 5-7/8 in. on wood and 3/8 in. on steel. This jig saw offers a variable speed setting of up to 3100 SPM with a 4-position orbital operation for different blade strokes. This kit also contains T15RC – a bonus 15-piece T-Shank wood and metal jig saw blade set.

It was great to have our daughter make the purchase over the internet and be able to come down and pick the item up about a 1/2 hour later. It was kind of the young lady at the Customer Service desk to retrieve the item, rather than having to come back later in the day to pick it up. The best. So far so good, has all the features. The blade release is really nice, variable speed control and variable trigger combined with ovulating blade means you can cut slow and exact on a pattern or rip through 2 by material on a custom rafter tail. Would be nice if the bevel gauge was lever activated, however, being that it is an Allen key it is completely repairable if anything ever fails. In fact, I wish the blade attachment was an Allen key and the bevel adjust was a level, I switch angles a lot more than blades. Ohh and it has a case, important to longevity of a good tool. And a nice long cord. Love it, great saw. The best

These things are AWESOME!!! Every thing I have asked them to do they have done without a hitch, and they are still just as sharp as when they were in the package!!! Of course, that is probably because I haven’t taken them out of the package yet. Home Depot always asks me to rate the stuff I buy before I get a chance to use it. Still, they wanted a rating, so here it is. Seriously, Bosch tends to make good stuff, which is why I bought them. I expect good things from my saw blades.

Construction is solid and saw performance (strong cutting power, low vibration, long cord length, easy blade mount/demount mechanism) is excellent, one of the best corded jig saws. Needs a tool to bevel the bottom plate and there is no built-in laser or LED light to guide the cutting.
