The Bosch JS572EK Top-Handle Jig Saw provides excellent cut precision, thanks to the innovative Precision Control II double-roller system. This construction minimizes blade deflection for true, exact cuts. Woodworkers and kitchen and bath installers are among the many user groups that will appreciate the best-in-class 7.2-amp motor and variable-speed control. This jig saw is an excellent choice for curve-cutting and scallop-cutting and other cuts in a wide array of materials. Built with an aluminum gearbox with an insulated cover, this jig saw has a state-of-the art counterbalancing mechanism for low vibration and Constant Response circuitry for consistent speed under load. It has a large die-cast aluminum footplate with tool-free adjustment for fast-and-easy bevel adjustments. It also has LED lighting and a dust blower for max cut-line visibility. The jig saw has a toolless blade-change system. The multidirectional blade clamp provides superior grip of T-shank blades (Bosch jig saws do not accept U-shank blades).

This is the best jigsaw I have owned to date. I am 68 years old and owned a jig saw since I was 12. This is the most expensive but I guess you get what you pay for. It is well balanced with plenty of power. I really like the LED light, sawdust blower, 1″ stroke, & double roller system. Got all the bells & whistles & cuts great. Very smooth running as well as quiet too. It is all it is claimed to be. GREAT SAW!

Our business switched to Bosch a couple years ago and we have not looked back. This jigsaw is by far the most proficient jigsaw. We have tried them all. Nothing comes close. We have also found that Bosch jigsaw blades are hands-down the best as well. It is powerful and it’s percision is just what we needed to ramp up production. Less time fixing angled cuts caused by deflection and cutting three times faster while doing so. If you use a saw dust collector connector with this tool, you will find it is absolutely the best. The dust collection system swivels with your movements whereas other jigsaw dust collector systems pull you off of your line. We love this tool, and it is used for 80% of our fabrication. Bosch really set the bar for jigsaws with this model.

The best jig saw on the market. Easily cuts square cuts 4×4 post. The double roller blade guide really works. The power cord is also very high quality and pivotal so it stays out of the way when your working. The only negative is the dust blower could be a little stronger and the plastic used on the storage case seems a little flimsy. I would highly recommend paying a few dollars more and buying this saw over the others, you won’t regret it.

This jig saw (model JS572E) is the best I’ve ever used! Plenty of power, accurate cutting, minimum vibration, effective light onto the work piece, and long power cord. This machine is very well built and will last a lifetime with proper care. Absolutely worth the price. Also recommend purchasing P/N TC-21, the spare blades come in a Brute Case – fits inside the saw’s case in the area intended for the cutting guide. The Brute Case is far better that other blade storage options that either will not fit inside the saw’s case or cardboard bubble packs that are difficult to open and will not retain the blades when returned after being slightly used.Here are some areas that Bosch should work on: 1. Improve on the Anti-Splinter insert. It is difficult to install and obscured by dust when used. Totally useless. 2. The Chip Blower feature is marginal – increase its performance!3. Include a Velcro strap to secure the long power cord so that it will fit nicely into the plastic storage box.4. The carrying case has raised sections and a “box” area – but no clue in the manual or imprinted on the case as to what they are for. Presumably they are associated in some manner with accessories that can be purchased separately. Show proper storage in the manual please.5. Provide a list of all available blade numbers with TPI, Length, and Application as a table in the manual as well as an insert in the TC-21 blade box.

I looked at all major brands jigsaws in person (even as far as putting my own blades in the floor model to examine blade alignment in the roller guide and for 90 square to the foot plate), I also spent many hours reading/watching reviews and none of them was quite perfect in every regard. I bit the bullet and ordered the js572ek through home depot and I was not disappointed. Blade alignment was perfect and true regardless of the blades thickness. This saw is surprising light and has been updated since the original release. It now has 3000 spm and the precision 2 guide system has thicker arms and the blade eject lever is red (it shoots blades of like spent shell casings). Did I mention it cuts fantastic! Well done. The engineering on this saw is a quantum leap forward and is worth the extra expense if admire a well designed tool.
