I am partial to Bosch, when it comes to laser tools. This Laser Line Receiver is another quality Bosch laser tool.Purpose of tool: There are three uses that I can think of – there may be more. You will need a laser source (a line laser tool) with a pulse laser.1. If the laser light is too hard to see, this receiver will pick up the laser and let you know if you’re on line with it.2. If you’re looking for a point between where the laser line is shining on the wall and the source, you can’t see the laser. This tool will tell you where the laser line is.3. You can mount this at your target. Then adjust the source so it hits at the right place.As with other Bosch Laser tools, this one is very well made. The case is made of a tough, dense plastic with rubber bumpers all around. The LED sensor is large and it’s easy to put the receiver in the right place. The up-down arrows are great and make it easy to place the unit perfectly. There is an audible beep when the tool is aligned. There are also two setting – for different levels of accuracy. There is also a front and rear display screen (LCD). It runs off a standard 9V battery. It also has a threaded socket for installing on a tripod or other device. The top has a strong magnet built in, so it can be attached to a drop down ceiling or other steel object.I’m very pleased with my new Laser Receiver. It works great and the quality makes me feel like it’ll last a long time. I highly recommend it.

The Bosch line laser receiver is a quality product that increases the useful distance of my Bosch laser. It has dual readout displays on both sides of the receiver, making it easier to read. You can attach it with either the powerful magnets or the detachable clamp that comes with the line laser receiver. The receiver runs on a 9V battery and has an audible detection signal.

I was skeptical to buy this product because the previous 2 I purchased wouldn’t pick up my line laser. This one works great even in bright sunlight. Just can’t beat Bosch.
