Description
The Bosch MRF01 plunge base is designed for use with Bosch router models MR23EVS series. This base features a precision centering design that makes it easy to keep the bit on the intended cut line when using jigs, templates, dovetail fixtures and similar guidance devices.
- Fixed base with fine adjustment knob with on/off switch located in the handle
- Trigger control system conveniently located in handle for enhanced control
- Connects to 1-1/4 in. and 1-1/2 in. vacuum cleaner hoses when VAC024 Adapter is used
- Macro and micro fine adjustment system with resettable depth indicator
- Large 3-3/4 in. base opening and 2 in. sub-base opening accepts larger bits

I bought this for convenience, it is an extra base that I can leave attached to to my Bosch router table. When I need to use my router for something that doesn’t require a router table I simply drop the motor from the table and into either the fixed or plunge base and it’s ready to go. It also saves me from having to run out and buy a lift which I would like but can’t afford right now. In my experience Bosch builds a relatively good quality product, so far I haven’t been let down.
