The Bosch 2.3 HP Fixed Base Router is powered by a robust 15 Amp motor. It features a smart, handle-mounted trigger with lock-on button. The variable speed dial and soft start give you complete control. Constant-Response circuitry maintains constant speed under load. Bright LED lighting illuminates when the router is plugged in to provide enhanced visibility in the bit area.
- Includes 2.3 HP fixed-base router MRF23EVS, motor, MRF001 fixed base, 1/4 in. and 1/2 in. self-releasing collets, bit wrenches, T-handle hex wrench, 3 screws for table mounting
- 15 Amp motor with 10,000 – 25,000 rpm speed range and durable aluminum construction
- 1-5/8 in. (41 mm) of continuous, micro-fine adjustment range
- Precision centering design makes it easy to keep bit on intended cutline
- Smooth-plunge action, spring-lock plunge lever and depth rod for ease and precise routing

All my research told me Bosch makes the best routers. Went with this over the older model. The soft start and LED were features that were important to me. Also it works well with the Bosch router table with the tabletop adjustment key.I’m not a heavy user but this easily handled the hard maple I threw at it. Use nice bits for a smoother result. Only regret was to not also buy the plunge assembly at the time of purchase.
