Works great when brand new, but doesnt seem to last very long. Maybe have an attachment like milwakee has for the cutting blade that you can change out.

It chewed right through some back to back 2×4’s. This tip digs in and pulls it through. Even when I had a bad angle without much force it drove itself through. I used a slow drill setting. A fast drilling speed may prevent the tip from pulling the bit into the wood.

I used this to drill holes through pressure treat lumber for carriage bolts. Probably took one second per hole. Very quick, easy drilling.

One inch bits are difficult to find at reasonable cost, but this one is good. VERY aggressive when starting – hold on.

I had my doubts about this bit because of it’s odd shape, but because Bosch makes it I felt that it must be good. I wasn’t disappointed. It really is good!
