Read the fine print. This is NOT meant for porcelain tile. Keep in mind that a vast majority of tile that goes into houses today is porcelain, this is NOT the bit for that tile. If you are not drilling porcelain, this might work for your application or if you have just one hole to drill in porcelain. Frankly, it will not work on porcelain so granite is out of the question as well.

It took two of them to finish the job of drilling about a dozen mounting holes through hard tile (porcelain or porcelain like). I may have been at fault (using them at the wrong rpm). They did do a good job of not cracking or shattering the tile. I cooled the bit in water every 10-15 seconds of use.

It worked and did not crack the tile but it took a very long time to drill a hole. It was our first time drilling into tile though so that may be normal.

It’s an average drill bit. Price is a little on the expensive side. The bit works better on a wet surface. Dry surface dulls it in no time.

Bit works well on tile. Cuts very precise holes with no chipping or cracking. Installed grab bars in the shower with this bit with no problems

Very difficult to drill thru ceramic tiles. This drill helped enormously.

Started slowing down after the 2 cut, but made it through the 3rd. Cursed myself for not getting the diamond bit, but soldiered on and kept dipping it in veg oil and cooling it after 10-15 secs of use in water. Took me 20-30 mins to avoid heat. Finally got through the 4th hole…time to toss it out!

The bit worked well

This one worked fine for the first few uses and it dulled after that. As with any bit for tiling, plenty of water was used. Great on ceramic and soft stone, do not attempt porcelain. It chips glass, the edges are rough. It has its use, still good to have in tool box.

Drilling through ceramic tile was not an easy task even with this drill bit. Quarter inch thick and each tile took more than 30 minutes to get through. Had to go slow to keep from burning up the tip. Also used an eighth inch bit to make a pilot hole. So jsy average for this expensive bit.

The first hole in ceramic tile took 5 minutes. Then next took 15. Bits dull amazingly fast. Have yet to find one that stands up to multiple holes.
