The Japanese tooth blade is great for cutting harder woods, but you have to be precise when using it. this speeds the process where other blades cut cause burn marks from friction due to slower cuts in hardwood. I only gave it 4 stars since I believe cost could be lower, but it is what it is & will continue to use these blades. It’s not for cutting metal but that’s not why I bought it for. I have carbide blades when I need to cut metal.
