The Colt Palm router is very easy to set up and use. This router is very well designed to fit your hand like a glove. It acts less like an extension of your hand. This is a definite need power tool to have for all skill levels.

i have been using a bosch palm router for years, and just got this new one because i gave my old one(still working great) to an apprentice. both have better power than ALL competitors palm routers. i do harwood floors, so it is put to the test almost every day, where i need the power, without the big plate of a full sized router. it stands up to commercial use – and i havent found another palm router that doesnt bind up, or keep the depth during a pass. i only look at bosch tools anymore, they seem to be one of the only tool manufacturers that are keeping a commercial quality, other manufacturers(even the yellow company) has been lowering prices, and quality. i am happy to pay for a quality tool, and havent had a bosch tool fail me yet. if you are looking for a reliable palm router – this is the only one that passes the test. keep it up bosch!!

The features are very well thought out, they are easy to get to and easy to set which makes the job go alot faster. The performance is also very good. It handles plastics, laminates, and even trimming off 1/4″ masinite. Doesn’t hardly even drop the Rpm’s.I got very good customer service, They looked it up for me, ordered it, and shipped it in three days. You can’t buy it in the store as of yet, for it is a new style tool.I am very satisfied with the service and the tool itself

I purchased my Bosch Palm router approx 1 month ago and I am pleased with the results so far. I have not had a lot of time working with this yet to provide a good overview.

I had used one at work, Its so handy that ive decided to get one for home use as well. It handles tight spaces very well, it has enough power to do small jobs with upspiral cut bit if necessary. This is absolutely a must have. it compliments my bigger set of Bosch routers very nicely!

This is an excellent tool. The only suggestion I would would be to include a clear base plate of easier viewing of the router area.

Have owned for about a year and thoroughly appreciated and enjoyed. Very comfortable and controllable. All this adds up to a very useful tool. Only regret is they either did not have or offer the plunge base when I bought. Looks like I need to break down and purchase this.

Purchased this several months ago. I use the Bosch fixed/plunge router extendively but purchased this for small projects like boxes, toys and frames – it’s excellent – do not hesitate- this is a great lightweight tool

This proved to be a really fine small router, except I had difficulty seeing where I was cutting. Competitors have a small light at the bit, which is why I bought one of those and this went to the back shelf.

Use this router for building small boxes, just the right size, easy to work with and plenty of power.

I have had several different trim routers around the shop but none of them hold up as good as this one Also the base is one of the easiest to adjust. .

lightweight yet more than enough powergreat great great tool

Overall it is a very good router. Collet was tight and when I put in bit it broke the collet. They seem a little fragile. May need to get a better collet. Other than that I think this router performs extremely well.

I looked at all the trim routers and this one made the top of my list. It handles the job that I was doing. Trimming slats for a wrought iron bench was a snap. The micro-adjuster was a plus as well.

I have a earlier model of this one and have used it for many years. It performs very well and is easy to adjust. Get this for your first router.

This is my first Bosch tool, but it will definitely not be my last! Excellent tool for doing smaller routing jobs and with greater detail. The light weight of the tool makes for easier working on the job site.

The router ran fine but it did not have a good enough adjustment for the work I was doing. The base vibrated down in the locked position and ruined the material by taking a huge chunk out of it
